Questions to answer
How many weeks will you need to import and build your template library?
When will your pilot group begin?
When will you launch Lucidpress to all your users?
Task 3: Roll-out with a pilot group
This is a trial run to help identify small changes in the locking and smart fields to improve the user experience.
Identify key power users to drive adoption and provide support
Grant Lucidpress licenses to your pilot group
Ask for feedback; tweak templates as needed
Craft a roll-out plan
Task 2: Collect user data in CSV
Assign someone to collect your users' data
Fill out the CSV located under Team > Users > +Users > CSV Upload
If there are any fields that aren't relevant, you can leave them blank
If you want to add more custom fields, create a new column
Don't upload this CSV until you are ready to launch
Task 1: Import documents from InDesign; build your template library
Identify the most important files you want for your pilot and for launch
Import your files, fix any errors, add locking and smart fields
Add template categories before converting to templates
Conduct an audit of each document, then convert to brand templates
Branded templates at your team's fingertips.
After conducting your pilot group and editing your templates as needed, you're ready to launch Lucidpress to your organization.
Write an email announcement for your users
Plan a user training. You can host a live in-person or online training. You can also send them to our user course program. It covers everything your users need to know to get started.
