Upper school and high school
Many positions have been posted for the expansion of the OSS Post Graduate Program at CRLS, serving 18-22 year old students who require transition services.
We have schedule mapped for students with IEPs at all four upper schools and finalized the master schedule at CRLS with a robust collaboration between OSS and General Education.
We held 5th grade transition meetings and 8th grade transition meetings to prepare receiving 6th and 9th grade teams to be able to best meet the needs of our students with disabilities. At least 50 OSS staff participated in each of these meetings.
Special Start leadership team has worked with educators on identifying and delivering high quality instructional practices for students with disabilities.

For the SY 2019-2020, Special Start will have new staff, including a new school psychologist and new lead teacher.
Office of student services
The Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia (ACE) "provides an interactive interface containing assessment tools, lesson plans, teaching materials and student performance."
As part of our Program Enhancement Plan, teachers have started using this program as part of their curriculum plan to capture student's progress for some of our students in the ASD classroom. This allows teachers access to discrete trial programs and data collection.
Due to an increase in enrollment, the Office of Student Services will reopen the second Language-Based Learning Disabilities (LBLD) classroom at the Graham and Parks School. The LBLD program enrolls students in grades two through eighth.
