(Tozer) “How completely satisfying to turn from our limitations to a God who has none. Eternal years lie in his heart. For him time does not pass, it remains; and those who are in Christ share with hi all the riches of limitless time and endless years.” (H. E. Fosdick) “This was the strength of the first Christians, that they lived not in one world only; but in two, and found in consequence not tension alone, but power, the vision of a world unshaken and unshakable.” (J. B. Phillips) “There is a hint of the everlasting in the vastness of the sea.” (Robert Moffat) “We have all eternity to celebrate our victories, but only one short hour before sunset in which to win them.”

Presider: E. David Daebii Choi Preacher: P. Jim Jung CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 121:1-8 1I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come 2My help comes from theLord, who made heaven and earth. 3He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. 6The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. 7The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. SILENT CONFESSION Let us prepare our hearts by privately confessing our sins to our loving Heavenly Father. Be honest before God, and bear your heart and soul to Him. Thank Him and Praise Him for the good things; and confess those sins you knowingly and unknowingly commit, even the sin of omitting the good that you ought to have done. (Silent Private Prayer) ASSURANCE OF PARDON (In Christ, our sins are covered!) Hear the good news! Isaiah 55:6-7 “6Seek theLordwhile he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” PRAYER OF ADORATION AFFIRMATION OF FAITH Heidelberg Catechism – Lord’s Day #46 – PRAYER 120. Why did Christ command us to address God thus: “Our Father?” To awaken in us at the very beginning of our prayer that childlike reverence for and trust in God, which are to be the ground of our prayer, namely, that God has become our Father through Christ, and will much less deny us what we ask of Him in faith than our parents refuse us earthly things.[1] [1]Mt. 7:9-11; Lk. 11:11-13; *I Pet. 1:17; *Isa. 63:16. 121. Why is it added: “Who art in heaven?” That we might have no earthly thought of the heavenly majesty of God,[1] and from His almighty power expect all things necessary for body and soul.[2] [1]Jer. 23:23-24; Acts 17:24-25, 27. [2]Rom. 10:12; *I Kgs. 8:28; *Ps. 115:3.
