(Martin Luther)
“And though this world, with devils filled should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed his truth to triumph through us.†(John Calvin)
“Men are undoubtedly more in danger from prosperity than from adversity. For when matters go smoothly, they flatter themselves and are intoxicated by their success.†(Saint Augustine)
“Hope has two beautiful daughters; their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are.â€

Preacher: Sijin Yang CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 111:1-4 Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation. 2Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. 3Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever. 4He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful.
SILENT CONFESSION Let us prepare our hearts by privately confessing our sins to our loving Heavenly Father. Be honest before God, and bear your heart and soul to Him. Thank Him and Praise Him for the good things; and confess those sins you knowingly and unknowingly commit, even the sin of omitting the good that you ought to have done. (Silent Private Prayer)
ASSURANCE OF PARDON (In Christ, our sins are covered!) Here the good news! Ezekiel 36:25-26 “25I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.â€â€¨ PRAYER OF ADORATION
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH Heidelberg Catechism – Lord’s Day #37 – THE LAW OF GOD 101. But may we swear reverently by the name of God? Yes, when the magistrate requires it, or when it may be needful otherwise, to maintain and promote fidelity and truth to the glory of God and our neighbor's good; for such an oath is grounded in God's Word,[1] and therefore was rightly used by the saints in the Old and New Testaments.[2] [1]Deut. 10:20; Isa. 48:1; Heb. 6:16. [2]Gen. 21:24; 31:53-54; Josh. 9:15, 19; I Sam. 24:22; I Kgs. 1:29; Rom. 1:9. 102. May we swear by “the saints†or by any other creatures? No, for a lawful oath is a calling upon God, that He, as the only searcher of hearts, may bear witness to the truth, and punish me if I swear falsely;[1] which honor is due to no creature.[2] [1]II Cor. 1:23. [2]Mt. 5:34-36; *Jer. 5:7; *Isa. 65:16.

an enduring principle of tithing of our gross income as the baseline for the Christian’s worship through giving (2 Cor 9:7; Malachi 3:8-10). If every church member gave 10%, we would have enough financial resources for all the gospel ministry God is calling our church to do. Let the Spirit guide you in all final matters.
