Over 200 individuals attended GEC Job Fair, on May 19, at Holiday Inn, Skokie, IL – 60077.
GEC has accomplished a great success in providing various options to Job seekers and hiring agencies.
Participating agencies were - Chase Bank, Cook County Sheriff, Illinois Dept. of Central Management Services, Illinois Dept. of Children and Family Services, Illinois Tollway, Sahara, Soul Care Home Health Care, Quality Training Institute, Al-Furqaan Foundation, Six Flags, Century 21, World Financial Group, ASAR America INC. Illinois Revenue Dept., Building Bridges Consultancy, and others.
The Job Fair also had a presentation from Sanjeev Singh, founder, and managing partner ASAR America Inc, Mr. Singh spoke on, “how to start a career in the Information Technology?” John Nelson, Senior Public Service Administrator, EEO Officer, Illinois Department of Revenue, illustrated on various options for immigrant and minorities in the Revenue Dpt. The highlight of the event was a presentation by Dr. John Kalaras Founder and CEO at QTI. Dr. Kalaras spoke on employment readiness skills and career options for immigrant and minorities.
The event was emceed by Coach Niquenya D. Collin, Master Business Coach, President, and CEO at Building Bridges Consulting.
