It’s that time of year again! The “Declaration of Intent to Return” for your student will be coming to you by email within the next couple of weeks. Please keep an eye out for it and make sure that you complete it for the 2021-2022 school year as soon as you receive it. There will be a deadline noted of before the end of 2020 – this helps our Registrar properly plan for the new school year registrations. Specific instructions will be within the email for you to complete this intent.
Thank you in advance for completing it by the given deadline!

Wednesday Attendance Procedures
Since the state requires attendance to be taken daily, all students will be REQUIRED to sign-in to their FIRST PERIOD TEACHER on Virtual Wednesdays. This will be completed on a Google Form, which will be created by their first period teacher and placed on their Google Classroom stream. Students will be given a 2 hour span of time to complete this attendance form from 7:30am until 9:30am – the form will be shut off at 9:31 am and any student who has not turned in their attendance will be marked ABSENT for the entire day.
iReady and CERT Testing
Please see the following page for iReady and CERT testing dates.
High School Student Drivers Permit Requests
Drivers under the age of 18 are required to show proof of school attendance per NRS.483.2521. All Nevada students will be required to submit a DMV-301, the Department of Motor Vehicles Certificate of Attendance form, to the local DMV office when applying for either an instructional permit or a driver's license. Students who fail to meet the attendance standards outlined above will be unable to secure the school official's signature required on the DMV-301 to apply for an instruction permit or driver’s license. The Registration office will be the one to verify this information.
Please send an email request to our Registrar by emailing SloanInfo@pinecrestnv.org. Make sure to include your students first & last name, date of birth, and parent first & last name requesting the DMV-301 form – we will complete the form in full. Please allow 2-3 full school days for this request to be processed – requests for same day or next day are not guaranteed. You will be contacted by email when the DMV-301 document is ready for pick up at our front office.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello High School Pirates Families,
As previously mentioned if your student athlete is interested in participating in athletics please complete the Register My Athlete information. The link below is to the NIAA website and their “Register My Athlete (RMA) for Parents” page. This page has detailed instructions on how to complete the process. This only needs to be done for high school athletes, once for each school year. You may indicate one sport per season that your student is interested in trying out for and competing in. Please note that you DO NOT have to pay a fee at this time.
Thank you for your interest in athletics and please complete the RMA process as soon as possible. This will allow your athlete to avoid any delays in participating once seasons open.
