4.2. How is Comtravo different than discount online travel websites? There will be no extra costs (e.g. if you don´t use a special payment card) and the price is always clear and transparent. The flights will be booked immediately, thus if the flight is available when you book it, you will get it. If you book with a discount online travel agency you often only do a booking request, that means your flight is not confirmed immediately and there is a good chance that you won´t get it. With Comtravo you can easily cancel or rebook your flight with no hassle and only a very small fee. Comtravo is based in Germany and therefore will provide a proper invoice with the correct VAT. This can save you up to 19% compared to online travel agencies as they are most of the time not registered in Germany and do not state VAT on their invoices. Comtravo will provide you with one structured invoice with all your monthly bookings, that can easily be uploaded to SAP or other accounting software.
4.1. How is Comtravo different than other travel agencies? With Comtravo, you can book via using the channels you prefer and don't have to limit yourself to an online booking engine. We have more options to choose your flights and hotels from than anybody else in the industry. We do not limit our search to our partner's network, we always look for the best deal available. We trust our excellent service and offers; and therefore we don't have any long year contracts, implementation and/or monthly usage fee. We always encourage you to check our prices against any other business travel agencies. We have an excellent 24/7 support that is handled completely in house, so you will always have a certified travel agent to support you.

4.4. Is Comtravo subscription based or pay-per-use? Our model is a pay-per-use model, there is no subscription fee. We will charge the service you are booking, exactly as we have purchased the service. Additionally there is a fee per transaction that applies to your entire company and is negotiated individually. Enjoy a simple cost structure per booking with a single booking price for hotels, flights, cars and trains! We do not charge any set-up fee, accounting fee, late-booking fee nor any other hidden fees. Our pricing is clear and simple.

You do not have to create an account with a username and password. You just need to send your first booking request via one of our channels and we will do the rest. Additionally, our travel agents will send you a setup form to collect your travel preferences. This allows us to find the best possible offers for you in the future.

2.2. What is the minimum information needed for Comtravo to process my booking request? Your ideal request will provide us with enough information so that we do not have to ask you for additional data to proceed with your request. Minimum request once set-up is done:

Our team will always offer options tailored to your individual preferences. Our system even looks at your travel history to analyze your travel habits and preferences. Provide us with any of the following preferences and we will do our best to fulfill them for each booking. Please also feel free to communicate us any other travel preferences.

Set up your company/employee travel policies once and we will always follow them when looking for the best choices: just send us your company travel policy file and we will set everything up! Amongst others, travel policy requirements can include: - Setting employee's travel expense approval structure for expenses over a certain amount. - Deciding who can book for you.

You only have to register your frequent traveler cards once during the setup process. When booking for you, we will automatically consider your frequent traveler cards and apply them to your booking where possible.

We use Stripe as our payment provider. All your card details and account data are stored safely with Stripe. None of our employees has access to them.
(i) Will I need to enter my card information each time? You will only need to enter your credit card data once. Then your credit card information is safely stored for future bookings. You can also add further cards or delete cards that you are not using anymore through the link we send with our booking options. (ii) Who can access my credit card details? Your card data are stored safely with our payment provider, our employees do not have access to this information.
You do not have to create any account with our payment provider Stripe. We will do it automatically for you! When clicking on our payment links you will be able to: - Choose one of your registered card to proceed with the payment. - Remove an existing credit card by pressing the "bin sign" on the right - Add a new credit card by pressing "Book with a new credit card"

V.3. What is stated on your invoices?
You will receive all necessary information relating to your booking to your email address. This includes: - a booking confirmation with a booking summary and booking details: reference number, dates ... - a calendar invite with the following information: date, time, booking references. - a simple and clear invoice - any tickets or vouchers that are required for your trip We will also remind you when you can check-in 24 hours before your flight so you can have a hassle-free travel experience!
(i) Do I need to do check-in for my flight? How? We will send you an email message with all required information 24h before your departure to remind you to check-in. You don't have to worry about missing your check-in anymore! For our premium customers, we also offer an automatic check-in service. We will take care of check-in and send you your boarding passes (as PDF and passbook for Apple Wallet wherever possible) directly. (ii) How will I get my ticket? Usually, you will have an e-ticket for flights which means you will just need the booking references to check-in and get your boarding pass. (iii) Do I need to print my booking confirmation? Printing your booking confirmation is not necessary, booking references and if applicable, boarding passes are enough. `
Our offices are registered in Germany. This allows us to state VAT on our invoices - wherever legally possible. For you, if your company is registered in Germany, this has the advantage that you are able to retrieve the stated tax. This can result in a price advantage of up to 19% (VAT) compared to when you book a service through online travel agencies, given that these usually do not state tax on their invoices.
3.2. When will I receive an invoice? After each booking you will receive an invoice to your email address for each of the options you booked. Additionally at the end of the month we will send you an invoice package which comprises all invoices for that month. Along with this package you will also receive a summary of all your monthly bookings.

We have a 24h/7 emergency phone so that we can fix any problem (rebooking, cancellation, an urgent new booking ... ) at any time! You will not have to suffer the wait of an airline hotline - e.g. during a strike - anymore!

At the end of each month we send out a summary report of all trips booked throughout this month. With this overview, you can check your bookings and keep track of your monthly travel spend, allowing you to do your expense reports much quicker and easier.
You can choose between two reporting options: - Monthly reporting on individual level, where all travellers receive a personal summary - Monthly reporting on company level, where a designated person receives an aggregated summary for the whole company Along with this summary you will also receive an invoice package which comprises all invoices for that month.
Not at all, you can choose your reporting option independently of your payment method.
