Larry Arnaudet, ESCA Executive Director Are you ready to experience the true tradition of southern hospitality amidst the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoy a few rounds of championship golf on a Donald Ross-designed course, exhilarating white water rafting, or fly fishing on the French Broad River or see the historic Biltmore Mansion? If so, have we got a week planned for you! The 2022 ESCA Summer Educational Conference has all this and more. Situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville, North Carolina, is known for its vibrant arts scene and its historic architecture, including the dome-topped Basilica of Saint Lawrence. The Downtown Art District is filled with galleries and museums, and in the nearby River Arts District, former factory buildings house artists' studios. Conveniently located near our resort headquarters of the Omni Grove Park Inn is the vast 19th-century Biltmore Estate displays artwork by masters like Renoir. Our educational content is being finalized as we speak with timely industry-related issues. Our host hotel, the Omni Grove Park Inn, is a destination. Serving guests for over a century, The Omni Grove Park Inn was built in 1913. This stately golf resort has views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can relax in the unique subterranean spa or enjoy the sports complex with six tennis courts, an indoor pool, and a fitness center. There are also five restaurants, 3 bars, and a cafe. We know you'll enjoy this historic resort's classic comfort and modern convenience. We have put together a stellar experience for you and your family, and I hope to see you this June!

Book Your Room Our hotel this year is stunning! You want to be sure to book your room early, and in our block. Go to esca.org and select events to follow the link to book your room. Plan Your Travel The closest airport is the Asheville airport. If possible fly into here as it is about 30 minutes from the hotel. Greenville or Charlotte are the next nearest airports, about 1-2 hours from Asheville. Book your flight early! There are only a few direct flights a day. Pack Your Bags Our event is business casual or resort wear. If you are going fishing or rafting please bring sun screen, shoes that can get wet and stay on your feet, and quick drying clothes. Join us at the historic Biltmore Mansion
Join us for a lunch on the property, entry into the Historic Mansion and a self-guided tour.
Swing into a round of golf on the legendary 18-hole course at The Omni Grove Park Inn. The 6,400-yard championship course has been played by PGA stars Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, and even President Obama. Feel a sense of pride and accomplishment after navigating the tree-lined fairways and bent greens with amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Elevated tee boxes on the par-70 course provide perfect sightlines for each drive.

Fishing on the French Broad River! Monday, June 27th The bus will depart the Omni Grove Park Inn at 12pm, returning at 6pm. Boxed lunch will be served on the way to the river.

This years rafting will feature family-friendly white water rafting only minutes from downtown Asheville on the scenic French Broad River. We will explore the third-oldest river in the world, located deep in the rugged Pisgah National Forest. We will even have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of this river, from its earliest native American settlers to the industrialization of Asheville. There will also be abudant wildlife, including heron and kingfishers, bald eagles, and even an occasional black bear. With its splashy Class II and III rapids, NOC's French Broad rafting trips are ideal for everyone!

For those of you who love being on the golf course, we have added another golf outing to the schedule, just for you! Join us for the ESCA Golf Outing at the Omni Grove Park Inn Golf Course.
