New Year Update!
With camp five months away, our optimistic and invigorated outlook for the summer is in full swing. It’s been a long road getting to this point, but we are feeling the excitement for Camp Lenox 2021 building each and every day. We know that campers and staff alike are feeling a tremendous amount of pent up desire to return to our summer home on Shaw Pond. We can’t wait to see everyone, and do what we do best - provide amazing summers of friendship, fun, and meaning. Many of you are justifiably wondering how we will lead a safe and action packed camp program this summer. We’d like to share some of our thoughts and plans for the summer. Last year we learned valuable lessons from our Family Camp weekends, and from the camps that successfully opened. The availability of the COVID vaccine is going to be a “game changer” and will certainly play a significant role in the success of our upcoming season. As you begin to prepare for camp, here are some key health practices for the summer you can expect: Rapid testing will be readily available by the time camp begins and we will ask that your children be tested before coming to camp, and we will test again upon camp arrival. Further testing will be available for camp members displaying COVID related symptoms throughout the summer. Ventilation of all indoor facilities and bunks will be very important. Large indoor gatherings will be replaced with smaller outdoor gatherings, and we plan to hold as many outdoor activities as possible throughout the day. Dining room tables will be distanced according to COVID compliance. Weather permitting we plan to have many outdoor barbecues and picnic lunches. A medical task force consisting of our camp physicians will provide support and guidance with all COVID related protocols before and during the camp season. There will be a dedicated tent outside the health cabin for COVID related protocols separate from our primary health cabin facility. House keeping staff will have the most current COVID cleaning materials for sanitizing the bunks, and commonly used buildings including new electrostatic sprayers. Custom handwashing stations will be placed throughout camp for regular washing at each activity. This was by far the most emphasized protocol from camps that opened last summer and ensured the health of the community. Hand Washing, and more hand washing! Water bottle filling stations will be strategically placed throughout camp. As of this writing, we are not planning on a Visiting Day. In lieu of this we will organize Zoom/FaceTime get togethers for families throughout the day. All trips out of camp are postponed until BOH guidelines allow otherwise. We have created a COVID Dashboard on the homepage of our website that will have regular updates and information as our guidelines become clearer from the CDC and local BOH. Please check in on this periodically for all our updates. On another note, all our forms for the summer will be activated soon and The Camp Spot Camp Outfitter is now open for camp orders. Feel free to contact us any time with questions or concerns as we look forward to seeing you all very soon indeed! Keeping the Torch Burning, Rich and Stephanie

Awesome Prizes to be Won!
Coming Soon!
How it works: Each family can fill in one square on the grid. Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. After each quarter, if the current score lands on your box, you will win a prize! In the example below, if the score is Orange Assassins 17 - Black Anomoly 14, then the winning square (Highlighted) is the one with an Orange Assassins number of 7, and an Black Anomoly number of 4. Don't delay, pick YOUR square today! Enter by clicking on the football below. Good Luck!
