2020 hasn't been what anyone expected. The coming of Covid -19 changed the way we live, from how we work and connect with each other to how to how we spend our leisure time. This had become our new normal. Then came The murder of George Floyd, which came on the backs or Raysard Brooks, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner and so many more. The world was forced to face its truths as streets around county and the world, filled with people fighting to be heard and seen. We at ON! created a "We can't breath" collection, first as a way to support the BLM movement before realizing that it was an opportunity to do more. What started out a collection of protest videos, soon became a place to learn about hidden and omitted history. Someone once told me that the "The only way to change the narrative was to do just that, change the narrative." That has been part of our mission statement from the beginning. The Black Experience is more than just stories of struggle and oppression. We are funny, dramatic, animated, intellectual, adventurous, heroic, musical, artistic, romantic and so much more. We have always believed that everyone should feel represented and during these unprecedented times, these truths matter more than ever. So while many of us are quarantining, take a moment to explore and support our black creators, as well as enjoy all our diverse and inclusive films, series, documentaries, etc. Remember to always be good to each other and stay safe and well Maurice Woodson CEO/Founder
The year has come to an end and with it there has been much growth. I remember not to long ago when I launched ON! as a simple website with videos running in a loop. It wasn't how I envisioned it, however it was all I thought was possible. Like any creation, I kept trying to make it better. The Goal was to make ON! something I didn't see out there and that was an channel that focused on inclusivity and diversity. It also had to look and feel like the top streaming services on the market. Almost 2 years later and here we are. Honestly, it hasn't been easy. The year has been filled with trials and obstacles that have pushed us to the edge, but we are still standing and still growing. The quality of content, which now sits at over 400 hours of streaming content, is on the same level as the top companies. In the new year, we plan to continue the trend and grow by adding several original content series and films. The most exciting thing that I want to share is that we are completely upgrading our website and all apps so that user experience will be the best it can be. I know everyone will be as excited as we are when they experience all the chaanges. Website is live now and all the new and improved apps will be available April 1st. There has never been a better time to get ON! I hope you will join us.
I was on the train the other day and found myself eavesdropping dropping on this woman who was talking to another woman about "Rupaul's Drag Race". I'm familiar with the show, but don't know much about it because it's not something I would watch as a heterosexual male (Not that there aren't several Heterosexual men do do watch it on a regular). One of the things that caught my attention was that one of the women, who I later figured out was a LGBTQ couple, stated that she was so upset when the series left The LOGO Channel for VH1, leaving, in her words, nothing for her on that channel anymore. She explain that with it's departure, LOGO no longer was a channel where she could see herself represented. "All they play now is reruns of the Golden Girls, Three's Company, and other old series that rarely if ever featured LGBTQ characters." Now, I don't know how true that is, but it is something that I've heard often. With years working in the TV industry, I truly understand how limited diversity is when it comes to TV series, be it on network TV or streaming services, especially when it comes to the LGBTQ Community. I'm a big believer in diversity and believe that all people should be represented, as well as, have their voices heard. That's why ON! features several LGBTQ series and Have plans to add several more before the year is out. We must change the Hollywood narrative and turn our backs on all stereotypes. I'm proud to say that we at ON! celebrate the LGBTQ community and will continue to give them a voice and to have their stories told because their stories are our stories.

NOTES FROM THE CEO
Riding the train the other day, I found myself eavesdropping on a conversation between two women who were discussing the wildly popular show “Rupaul’s Drag Race”, hosted by none other than Rupaul himself. I am familiar with the show, but admittedly, I do not know that much about it. One of the women expressed how upset she was about the show’s departure from the LOGO channel; for those who are unaware, LOGO was originally aimed at LGBTQ viewers back when it launched in 2005 but since has shifted its focus towards more general and cultural lifestyle programming. The woman explained that as a lesbian, she no longer found LOGO to be identifiable. Lovable as the classic shows they air are (i.e., The Golden Girls, Three’s Company, Mama’s Family), she was unhappy with the lack of diversity that used to dominate LOGO’s roster years ago. I am not certain how true that is, but it is a notion that I have heard others speak on before. After years of working in the television industry, I have an in-depth understanding of the limitations of content and lack of diversity especially when it comes to the LGBTQ community. I am definitely an advocate for diversity. I believe that everyone has a voice and everyone, no matter the culture, gender, or race has a right to be represented to the fullest and have their voices heard around the world. This is the reason why ON! features several LGBTQ based series, plus we have plans to add more shows before the year’s end. For change to occur, we must be proactive in our efforts to alter the typical Hollywood narrative. No one else can tell our stories better than we can and we must turn our backs on all stereotypes. I am proud to say that ON! celebrates the LGBTQ community and we will continue to give them a platform to tell their stories. Their stories are our stories and who better than ON! to tell their stories and make sure people all around the world hears every last one of them.

Emmy Nominated Actor Joins The ON! Executive Team
"Throughout my 25-year career in show business, sports and finance I’ve absorbed a lot from icons such as Shonda Rhimes, Cathy Hughes, Red Auerbach, Oprah Winfrey, Magic Johnson and Will Packer. What stuck with me most was their tireless commitment to quality first, and ensuring they are equity owners in any content, entity or copyright they invest their talents into or help create." said White. “I feel blessed, honored and truly empowered to be in this new role with ON!. I am committed to working toward becoming a global provider of the world’s most diverse streaming content; and personally as a Black man and father of a Black (bi-racial) daughter, to insure my child feels included, reflected and empowered by the narratives in the majority of the content I now have a hand in helping create and distribute."
To me, this is one of if not the best fan film made. The acting is on par with any Hollywood Produced film. The action is sick with some of the best choreography you will see anywhere. Even the costumes are top notch. Actually they are better than most big budget takes on the characters. So much good in this series including the fact that unlike most Batman Universe stories, Batman is no where to be found. This is all about Thr Red hood and again the action and story do not disappoint. Neither does the darkness. This is not your bright colored witty superhero movie, and thank the Bat Gods for that. This film was produced only out of the gracious pockets of the director himself, Toby Bajrovic and it was all shot in Perth, Western Australia. Actor, Simon Arblaster plays Jason Todd/Red Hood in this 23 minute fan fiction movie.

Red Hood, the Fallen is written and directed by Toby Barjovic and like all DC Comics is filled with action and suspense. Following the Death of Batman, a new vigilante hits Gotham, hellbent on fulfilling redemption over a classic enemy.
I must admit that I am a huge comic book fan and more so a fan of the Batman universe (no offense Marvel) Of all of the comic book characters , I do believe that the Batman universe is the best hero universe DC has pumped out. I know , I know...Batman is probably the most used and abused DC super hero, next to Superman, that Hollywood has had the pleasure of ruining… time and time again. The role of Batman has been played by no less than 8 actors on TV/Film (and let’s not talk about the voice actors). As cool a character as Batman is, What about Night Wing? or, even better, the awesome anti-hero, Red Hood? For those that don't know Jason Todd, The Red Hood, became robin after Dick Grayson Grew up to become Night Wing. He was later Killed by the Joker, only for readers to discover he was brought back to life after being submerged in the Lazurus Pits. (Trust me it would take too long to explain that). Why has Hollywood ignored these cool and interesting story lines? Why can’t they just follow a Robin story line for once? Well, forget Hollywood! That’s why we have fans! And these DC fans don’t disappoint with their fan film all about the Red Hood.
HD with the Sony 900 camera. The movie screened in competition at the Reel World Film Festival in Toronto, and Playhouse West Festival in Los Angeles, and was distributed by Lions Gate. Reid’s producer credits include the features HORRORS OF WAR, distributed by Maverick; the festival hit PHIN; the horror hit THE CAMPUS aka DEATHDAY. His Documentary film credits include; RESCUE ME: A HOME FOR SPOT, ABOUT CANNIBIS AND CANCER and ANXIOUS AMERICA. Reid has produced over one hundred network promos and image spots, often working as a First Assistant Director. Campaigns included TYLER PERRY’S HOUSE OF PAYNE producing all of the network promos for the entire five seasons in one year. Other clients included: The NFL Network; PBS Sprout; Mothers. com; Fox’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, HOUSE, and LIE TO ME, BET’s CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL with Steve Harvey and the DIY Network’s LET’S GET DIRTY Campaign, which ran nationally in theaters. Reid directed and co-produced the pilot for Variety’s DVD Premiere Awards, with host Ben Stein and presenters included Vivica A. Fox and Quentin Tarantino. Talking With Cooking With Critters Producers
Lisa L. Wilson (2x Emmy® winning producer) and Garcelle Beauvais (acclaimed actress and reality star)
How did you discover The ON! Channel? We take pride in working with up and coming talent and companies who cultivate content by people of color, so it was brought to our attention that The ON!Channel values the same, so we thought it could be a great partnership. What made both of you decided to start a production company together and tell us about your production company? We met years ago while working together on a project and just hit it off. Creatively we are so in sink....It's honestly effortless. Not to mention, we also have a mutual respect for each other professionally, so we knew almost immediately that we were going to do great things together. It was a no brainer to partner and create Beauvais Wilson Productions, which has a full slate of film, Television, and digital projects. Why did you think ON! was the perfect fit for Cooking with Critters? The ON! Channel was the perfect place for our ground-breaking cooking show"Cooking With Critters"because the channel strives to curate content that will reach a diverse and international Audience. Garcelle tell us your experience and take on going from modeling, acting, hosting, reality tv, and now adding on the other side of the lens Producing, and your Production Company, how has that been for you, and what challenges have you had to overcome? I always like to challenge myself - going from modeling to acting took a leap of faith. I was starting something completely new when it came to acting and I had to prove myself that I could do it. Being an artist, I like to explore different parts of my artistry and so going from hosting to writing books, to producing, to me it all seemed like they were all a natural progression’s in my career! I couldn’t sit and wait for the phone to ring. I knew I had to create the projects I wanted to do and see, so when Lisa and I decided to start our Production company, it all just made complete sense.
pass along to others? LISA: To work hard for yourself, not for anyone else. Also, never compromise yourself to get ahead. I'm a big believer of having good work ethics and I often share these things with young producers because at the end of the day pride is earned, not given. GARCELLE: The advice that I was given was to never sell my soul for this industry, and I have worked hard to stay true to that and keep my integrity. What legacy do you want to leave when people say your name, and what do you know for sure about LIFE? LISA: That's always a tough question for me.I want to be known for being a good person who trusted God, loved Life, and made great content. GARCELLE: My legacy would be to be a proud mother raising my amazing sons and to be compassionate kind and respectful. When it comes to the industry, I think my legacy would be. that I couldn’t be boxed in, and that I lived my life fully and did it my way.
Lisa, how has winning your first student Oscar and Emmy, motivated you in wanting to start your own production company and what is your vision for the company you would want to be known by? LISA: As a producer and writer, your goal is to create memorable content, and when that is recognized and awarded by the television academy and the academy of motion picture arts and science, its quite a feeling of accomplishment. Opportunities at the top for female producers has always been a difficult road. My vision is to pave a new path by creating our own lanes for women creators. That is what I want BWP to be known for. Give us 2 of your best quotes and or sayings you live or stand by? LISA: Know your worth and demand it. GARCELLE: Great things never come from comfort zone! You have to push yourself to make your dreams come true. Give us 2 of the best pieces of advice you have received that you
Church Folks is a humorous and thought-provoking look at what happens behind the scenes of your local church. The series is Created by Deon Gibson and stars Dorien Wilson,Christopher Martin, Chanique Occena Davis,Lisa Donini,Tiffany Edwards, Tommy Kyllonen. "Ministry has always been a huge part of my life. Since 7th grade, when I volunteered to be one of the Wise Men in my church's Christmas play. Volunteering in that play opened up a whole new world. Ministry became a safe space to explore all of my creative gifts. In the following years, I spent time on the dance team, choir, drama team, I was the ministry photographer, graphic artist, and videographer... not knowing that God was using all of that to cultivate me for a career in filmmaking. With Church Folks, we wanted to show the positives of church/ministry. How it can change people's lives. I hear too often the negative things "church folks" do. I want to change that narrative and show the truly amazing things that "Church Folks" can accomplish when they work as a team," Said Deon Gibson.

Jon Sahagian is an Armenian-American filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles. A graduate of USC, he has created more than 20 short films that have debuted at over 70 domestic and international film festivals. Jon loves to tells stories imbued with meaning, heart, and comedy; he is most interested in using film to tackle humanity's greatest questions, but through stories that are fun and adventurous. Before starting his filmmaking career, Sahagian earned his BA in journalism from UC Irvine where he wrote award-winning articles on topics ranging from the sciences to humanity and philosophy. It was as an undergrad that Sahagian realized the power film has to influence the world, and so he decided to utilize his writing background to pursue an MFA at USC, directing several award-winning shorts, and eventually writing and directing the school's largest project, which premiered at SXSW. Jon also spent two summers in Tokyo training under a director from Japan’s Studio Ghibli, and this Japanese influence often bleeds into Jon's films. We got to ask him some question.
Pilaf was ready for the big screen. Crafting his wooden body, sourcing his electronics from around the world, wiring him, programming his computer and remotes, both of us learning how to puppeteer his movements. In the end Pilaf really stole the show; when we're at festivals audiences always want to play with him and kids think he's real (...and so does Pilaf, but don't tell him! For me, Pilaf brought a lightheartedness and child-like quality to the film. In the same film we have a mother telling her two children she won't be around for much longer, we also have a robot zapping people in the rear. When I'm writing films, I find it hard to do straight dramas or straight comedies because I think a genuine life features both. This is probably the most challenging aspect to writing a film like this, as you have to be careful how you balance the drama and the cartoony moments. But in the end I think this makes the film incredibly accessible to all ages, as it runs the entire gamut of emotion. What were your biggest challenges that you faced while making the film? I think it was when I got sued by Pokemon during pre-production. No, wait, maybe it was a few months later when my eye socket was shattered during a car accident and my right eye went crooked! No no no -- it has to be when my front tooth died and I had to wear a temporary tooth for months, which would shoot out of my mouth whenever I started laughing. One time we were in a production meeting and the tooth just launched into the middle of the room and everyone jumped back screaming. Actually my hardest challenge was objectivity. I wrote and directed the film, but I also had to produce it, edit it, do most of the visual effects, and the sound design. Not by choice -- I had to take time off USC because of the aforementioned circumstances. When I returned, all my friends were gone. There weren't many other students who could help because they had their own classmates to worry about. As the writer/director/editor, you're so close to the story that you sometimes have trouble seeing the film how other people see it. I remember at one point I was showing an edit to my co-producer Miranda Granger.
INTERVIEW WITH JON SAHAGIAN DIRECTOR OF
"My purpose is to show people that you can take what God put inside of you, inside your heart, and you can live by it."
At the core, The Star of Eros is a moving story about family. What inspired the story? The story is stolen directly from my life! (Even the lightning-shooting robot.) My loving grandma passed away unexpectedly when I was in college. Even though my family was always by her side, the hospital called the wrong number, so she died alone asking where we were. The night before she died I was supposed to visit her too, but was invited to a movie at the last minute. Nannie was the glue that held my Armenian family together; we relied on her for our guidance and emotional support. With her sudden loss, my family fell to pieces. My mom turned heavily to religion, my dad moved out to take care of his ailing mother, one of my two brothers went with him, and my grand aunt began developing dementia. For years I fought to get my family back together under one roof. All the while, I couldn't stop wondering where my
How did you come up with the idea for THE ABC's of I AM'S "I do “I Am’s” in the morning as part of my ritual along with prayer and meditation. One morning I decided to do my [affirmations] on Instagram and it received such great reception. People began to ask where they read them, so of course, it eventually became a business. I ended up writing down more “I Ams” and as I wrote them down, they slowly became a book. A new beginning is starting with my book of I Ams". What would you say is your purpose My purpose is to show people that you can take what God put inside of you, inside your heart, and you can live by it! Like, literally. Somebody might like to make shoes or make hats. You can literally live by that gift and no go get a nine to five job. I just to keep my purpose in front of everything that I do, and that is just reminding people that it's possible. That's what it's all about for me. ***
grandma's soul was. The film was born out of that question and those circumstances. The film includes an adorable and entertaining robot, which I hear really worked on set, what is its origin, and how did it come to be part of the story? When I was little I terrorized the playground bullies with electronic inventions. I created remote-controlled blades to chase them, overheating batteries, and screaming flash balls (my parents and teachers encouraged me -- that's the '90s for you). Like all the characters in the film, Pilaf is based on a family member: my dog Pilaf! The real Pilaf helped bring my family back together, so the robot Pilaf does the same in the film, just more actively. I designed Pilaf in MS Paint using my background in electronics. I wanted him to be real and practical. My high school friend Bradley Hanstad, who's worked on the TV show "Battle Bots," brought him to life in his garage using his industrial laser cutter and woodworking skills. He worked on Pilaf for months and went through at least two revisions before
. The dad in the film is throwing a flower into a trash can and I asked her, "Are viewers going to know this is a trash can?" I was that lost. I had to keep taking time off the edit so I could get distance, which made post-production take that much longer. Luckily I was able to sit down with several colleagues to get feedback, including my thesis advisor Jeremy Kagan and my editing professor Norm Hollyn. You have to be slightly crazy to go into film because the universe is always going to try to break your bones and you just have to keep pushing forward. Not just that, but you have to constantly fight to get the best out of yourself and everyone around you. I'm very proud of my cast and crew, who always allowed me to push them to their limits. They became my family along the way, so they only wanted to kill me a few times! I will have a lifelong partnership with my DP David Charry and my composer Marco Antonini, who both did outstanding work with our limited resources and always went above and beyond. Tell us about yourself and how you became a filmmaker? It goes back to my grandma's death. I fell into a deep depression when she died and wondered why we're put on this planet. I ultimately concluded we're here to leave the world better than we came into it. For me, what better way to do that than through film, one of the most powerful platforms known to humanity? I was studying journalism at UC Irvine at the time, with a focus on social and political issues, and decided I should use my writing background to pivot into film. I directed several shorts that made it into festivals and was then accepted into USC for my Masters. I had the opportunity to write and direct one of the school's largest projects, then decided to make "The Star of Eros" as my thesis film outside of the school using my own money and resources (that way the school couldn't own or control the film). I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities I received at USC, though of course I had to fight for every single one of them. Film is always a battle and you have to be persistent. My next venture is a sci-fi feature based on another personal struggle from my life, one even larger than the decade it took to get my family back together. Outside of film I run a large Pokemon website called PokeBeach, which gets around 500,000 visitors a week and has a staff of 90 people. I started it when I was 14 and the website turns 17 next month! I have a love for Japan and studied film there for two summers, including under a director from Studio Ghibli. I love blending the storytelling techniques of Japanese films with the more "popular" flare of Hollywood. In the end, I want to use film to tackle humanity's greatest questions, but through stories that are meaningful, loving, and adventurous

Walt Bost joins us to talk about what he has been up to as well as his award nominated series on ON!. For those who don't know, Walt Bost is the Co-Writer/Creator, Director and Executive Producer of the 2019 Emmy-nominated web series THE NEW 30. Originally from North Carolina, Walt has written, directed and edited the award-winning short films HARBINGER and THE HIKE and also the feature film IMMORTAL. As an Emmy-nominated supervising sound editor, Walt’s most recent credits include the current NBC series SUNNYSIDE, Netflix’s YOU and GRACE AND FRANKIE, Hulu’s VERONICA MARS, and the CW's IZOMBIE.
There wasn’t a show where I saw myself and what I was going through represented. And when I thought of my gay friends and how they were all in very different places in their lives some in relationships, some eternally single, some wanting marriage, some thinking about children, some focused only on careers I realized that none of these stories were being told onscreen either. But, I knew there had to be an audience out there for them. And it was then when I got the idea for my web series The New 30, about a diverse group of friends in their 40s, living in Los Angeles and finding their path in life. I met with my friend and fellow 40-something gay filmmaker John Sobrack and pitched him the show. John is a very talented writer, and I knew he would bring different ideas and points of view to the characters and the series. He quickly sparked to the idea so we developed the story further, outlining a six-episode season. After writing and shooting the pilot (self-funded), we thought we had something. We then wrote the other five episodes, launched a Kickstarter campaign and were successful! After compiling a diverse cast, we shot the series in the summer. It took a long time to do post-production because we had such little money, but still wanted it to be as professional as possible so many kind friends and colleagues contributed favors to help us complete it. The New 30 has been shown in numerous film festivals and recently won the Best Digital Drama Series award at the QueerX Film Festival in Los Angeles. Most amazing of all, though, is that the show was nominated in May for an Emmy for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama.? I’m thrilled to have it premiering on the ON! Channel and that it’s being exposed to a much larger audience! You can find my award-winning short horror film The Hike and my Emmy-nominated web series The New 30 streaming now on the ON! Channel!
Tell us about yourself and how you got into the Entertainment Industry? Walt - My name is Walt Bost, and I’m a writer, producer, director and supervising sound editor in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994, majoring in Radio/Television/Motion Pictures and minoring in Business Administration, I co-wrote/directed/produced/edited a 35mm independent horror feature for $50k. That basically served as my grad film school; after moving to Los Angeles in 1996, I continued to work on independent projects in various roles and wrote and directed some short films. While doing so, I became interested in post-production sound and started hanging out at a small sound editing company. Shortly thereafter, I was offered a runner position and soon was able to join the Editors Guild. I worked my way up to being an Emmy-nominated supervising sound editor, and still hold that job currently for projects such as; Felicity, Veronica Mars, Private Practice, The Following, Lady Dynamite, iZombie, You, and Netflix’s original series Grace and Frankie are some of the shows on which I’ve had the pleasure of working. I’ve also done post sound for various short films, web series, documentaries and other projects, all while continuing to write, produce and direct films and tv. What are some of the things you have done in the Entertainment Business? Walt - I’ve been a PA (production assistant) on commercials. I’ve worked in marketing. I’ve done almost every film crew job position there is. I’ve worked for nothing but experience. I’ve done various temp jobs. I’ve been a picture editor, a runner, a sound librarian, a sound editor. I’ve written scripts, I’ve made short films and a feature, I’ve crowdfunded, I’ve been nominated for 2 Emmys, and won several festival awards. I’ve worked with some of biggest actors in Hollywood, and attended a lot of fun events that would never happen anywhere else but Los Angeles! What was the Best piece of Advice you received? Walt - If you aren’t 15 minutes early, you’re late. And don’t compare yourself to anyone else. They aren’t you, and their life isn’t yours. Write what you know. Be yourself. Tell us about your current projects and what inspired them? Walt - A few years ago, I was writing a short film to direct but not feeling very inspired. I was going through a sort of mid-life crisis and was at a crossroads in my personal life and professional career. My nine year partnership had ended and, now in my early 40s, found myself forced to reboot my life. I turned to television to find some comfort but looking at the few gay-themed shows and also web series online, couldn’t find anything relatable. Most of the shows were about gays in their teens and twenties, were not about serious life issues, and were also not very good.
Who are you? This is a great question and deserves a great response. I am still figuring this one out. I feel we as human beings grow and learn about ourselves every day. If we choose to of course. I am an artist. I love to create. I love the idea of freedom. Freedom to explore and express oneself. I am a leader. I am one to leave a trail and not follow one. I am a great friend, an intent listener, a King, a son of God, unique, and courageous. I am ME! How has your childhood inspired you? Although my family endured many tragedies and traumas in the past, I am extremely blessed to have the childhood I did. I am the youngest of four and we all kick ass in our own way! My siblings and I are not too far in age, so we grew up together. My parents divorced when I was a teenager but remained good friends. I had a huge imagination growing up. I loved to perform and create content. My favorite performer was Michael Jackson and I vowed to work as hard as he did. When you see your self in the mirror, what do you see? I am outgoing, friendly, talented, sexy, a leader, and a loyal friend. It took me awhile to grow into the person I am today. I strive to ensure I love what I see when I look in the mirror. HAS IT BEEN A DIFFICULT JOURNEY FOR YOU? I have faced some serious challenges and still face some till this day. Pursuing any dream comes with risks and sacrifices. Especially when the dream seems unreachable. I’ve had struggles financially, with jobs, other’s opinions, and even my own thoughts. I’ve never allowed any of these challenges to defeat me. I keep God first and remember my WHY. When you have a strong WHY (foundation) nothing can push you. HOW DID PERFORMING BEGIN FOR YOU? I started performing when I was in grade school. I never really had any professional acting classes until I moved to LA. I performed in plays, show choir, and choir. I started modeling after college and got heavy into fitness. I started a company called FiT by Royce. (Focus on inner Transformation). Where I train clients, conduct yoga classes, and provide vegan meal prep (Earthy Eats). These endeavors have led to me being scouted by an agent in LA. I decided to move to LA for modeling and acting found its way back to my heart. I hit the ground running and never looked back. TELL US ABOUT SOME OF YOUR OTHER PROJECTS ? I have worked on various commercials, features, and short films here in LA. I also write and have two projects in the works. I have modeled for companies like, Chex Mix, Luna, Calvin Klein, NASM and others. I am currently the Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of a talk show called Inside the Black Actors Studio. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU? I keep God first. I remember my WHY and those who love me and have supported me in this journey. Acting and traveling Freedom to create! Often the best direction for me is no direction at all! Build a tribe of people who push and motivate you. We become who we surround ourselves with. Surely, I know I will change lives! My beautiful village can find me on all social media platforms at IAMDANNYROYCE. Keep up to date with everything Danny Royce at www.iamdannyroyce.com. In 1997, Khaeem started his own recording studio in a 1500 square foot building space in metro Atlanta. He named it Khaeem Ent. where he recorded musicians and filmed music videos for local artist as well as produced his own local cable TV show called the Platinum House Music Channel, where he showcased indie music videos from1999-2001. In 2006 Khaeem Entertainment evolved into a small film production company. By 2015 Khaeem began working on the script for his first feature film. In 2017 Khaeem began production on the company's first film MARVELOUS in collaboration with his 21 year old daughter and Cinematographer, HADIYA Yisrael, who he had been training in film production since she was 9 years old.
Life is a journey and sometimes one must take losses and make sacrifices. I have lost opportunities and people along the way. There have also been people who are not supportive when I have expected them to be. But my dad always had something to say that would help me find my way. My dad was the king of advice, but one of his recommendations was that the world was a mess when you got here, it will be a mess when I leave. Relax and live your life. Other advice that I hold on to came from a job I once had. At the early stages of my book writing process, an editor gifted me with some major advice. He told me that the reason I write, the heartfelt deep work and healing that was put into this book or any future project is separate from how the project is absorbed in the commercial space. He told me to make sure I was in complete and total alignment to avoid disappointment but also to free myself enough to enjoy when the message resonates with someone.

Do You Dare Open...
Filmed in Dallas, the first season introduces the colorful personalities of the main characters at a neighborhood coffee shop. As each of their conversations start to take place, it’s not very long before viewers grasp the hint that trouble is quickly brewing beneath the surface. Although the film addresses several topics often considered too difficult to openly discuss without criticism or judgment, “Behind Closed Doors” creates a dialogue that serves as a soundboard for the silent victims of abuse struggling to be heard. “As an adult when life’s troubles affect you it also affects the children around you and can drastically change how they cope with life as adults,” says Kim Archie. "Every cause has an effect.” NuVysion Media’s co-founders have emphasized their interest in developing thought-provoking content that opens the door for more conversations like these to take place. While the first season of “Behind Closed Doors” opens with the tumultuous drama of heavier issues, the series also has many light-hearted moments of comedy and sarcasm. The company is currently in negotiations with a streaming network for its new series. BEHIND CLOSED DOORS is streaming NOW!
Domestic and Sexual Abuse, Mental Illness, and Drug Addiction Explored in New Series
The New urban web-series follows the life of Pandora a lesbian entrepreneur who always takes care of everything and everybody except herself of course Although she seems happy on the outside on the inside she is torn apart dealing with her wife Rio's infidelities all while recovering from some serious ghosts from her past.
WRITER AND STAR OF "THOSE WE DON'T SPEAK OF"
I literally sat in my bedroom one night in 2007 and started writing down conversations and those conversations turned into scenes. I had the opportunity to direct some music videos, and a PSA on domestic violence which are mini films in my eyes. After being behind the camera I liked the idea that what was in my mind was now on film for others to see. What were the biggest challenges that you faced, in getting your film made? Some of the biggest challenges for this film were of course money, schedules for actors, and the biggest challenge was that I was very ill during the entire filming of TWDSO. I was in and out of ER’s and doctors were baffled at why I was so ill. So having to act in the film, work along side of the director and DP while being ill was a definite challenge.
Written & directed by filmmakers Kimlynn (Director) and Tamika Archie (Producer), co-founders of NuVysion Media Group, ”Behind Closed Doors” weaves together the dramatic stories of four characters struggling with real-life scenarios involving the domestic & sexual abuse, mental illness, and drug addiction each of them witnessed and experienced as children. Through the eyes of its characters, the first season explores the reality of those suffering in silence long after the trauma is done. The premiere for “Behind Closed Doors” will be held at Stemm Studios in Dallas, TX on Friday, November 15th.

One of the most watched films on The ON! Channel is Those We Don't Speak Of, which was written by Shawn Cosby, whom also stars in the film. Obviously she is a multitasker. Shawn is a professionally trained dancer, master choreographer, and actor, whose credits include: “House of Cards”, “Dreamgirls,” “The Honk,” “Annie,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Fame,” “The Wiz,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Grease,” “Les Miserable,” and more. She has choreographed and taught “intensives” for The Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Suitland School of the Arts, Jones Haywood School of Ballet, DC Dance Collectives, Creative Dance Center Inc., Expressions of Annapolis, Dance and Body Works, and the Dance Theatre of Lynchburg. She is a recipient of the Artists in Residence Master Teacher Award and the Alvin Ailey Award for Choreography. We asked her some question in order to discover more her process and what made her create such thought provoking film.
What was your inspiration for writing "Those We Don't Speak Of" My inspiration for writing the film was simply wanting to tell stories of various people that I knew who had been through church hurt, sexual assault by someone they trusted, and forgiveness. Personally growing up in church I have seen first hand the focus on perfection while suffering silently. I have know people that have struggled with their faith for various reasons and were to afraid to express that for fear of being looked down upon. Forgiveness was my main motivation, it’s hard to forgive others and even harder to forgive your self at times. How did you get started in being a filmmaker and content creator? I have always journaled, and I am also a song writer.

because of it. What was your favorite scene and favorite moment while filming? My favorite scene had to be the monologue of Camille’s mother actress Diane Powell. It was such honesty and vulnerability in her story and I know so many women and mothers who have lived her pain, turmoil, and guilt. My favorite moment was our Martini shot which was the scene in the hallway with Camille and her mom painting. When the AD said this is the martini and we were wrapped, I became so emotional because this journey that started in 2007 and was now in 2016 was complete. I said everything I needed to say on paper and I could say to myself through the grace of God I did it! What Advice do you have for other filmmakers? My advice would be to write, write, and write. Don’t wait for anybody to save your project. Get it filmed with a great quality crew, a strong story, and good actors. You will always need money but don’t let that stop you. Treat people well and build a village around you of people who will support your vision. Also watch films, I know so many writers who don’t watch tv or film. Huh? You have to be a connoisseur of the craft. Find a mentor or accountability partner to keep you moving toward your vision, sometimes we need that push because it can be discouraging. Lastly BELIEVE AND DON’T GIVE UP!Body text

Writer and director Satie Gossett has made a thought provoking film called "Forgiveness." The film creates awareness of the social impact that slavery has made and that healing can make on our future society in America. It is a timely social statement on the issues we face today, through the eyes of a young African American boy, Oliver Burroughs played by Roland Kilumbu. Burroughs learns about the history of slavery in America in his classroom. He enters an essay contest held by the President of the United States and proposes that the President apologize for the historical enslavement of the African American people in order to create social healing in present day America. Satie Gossett says that the idea for this film short occurred to him when his own young son asked him questions about the slavery that had occurred in his country. Gossett, owner of Goose Egg Entertainment, storyteller, thinker and image builder says that for the healing process to begin, change has to happen to get different results. His film is creating infectious thoughts of change. People of many ethnicities came to the screenings at the Landmark Theatre and expressed their desire to spread the message of "Forgiveness." The response to the film inspired educators to include the screening of the film in schools. They made plans to do so with Gossett after the screening. Gossett was also invited to screen at the Black Caucus Conference in Washington, D.C. Gossett's previous short film, "10 Minutes," a crime drama featuring Louis Gossett, Jr., starring Glenn Plummer and Kent Faulcon was screened at the Cannes Film Festival . THE SERIES IS KILLER
The premise is simple. A highly skilled assassin goes rogue when she encounters her high school crush entering the scene during one of her missions. As one might predict, they run this throws Agent Nine complete off the rails and causes her to do something she has never done before...break protocol. This is where the magic of the series begins? They could have gone a lot of ways with the story from this point, however, even though we find ourselves enjoying some comedic moments, instead of making this a romp comedy about missed connections (which don’t get me wrong, is fun as heck), Rebecca Gold turns left and goes dark. The series is a lot of fun. Rebecca Gold is filled with geek jokes (from Star Wars to Hitchhiker’s Guide and everything in between) and the action scenes are well done and believable. Let's just say that the girl can kicks ass...and the ending … Check it out for yourself and I'm sure you will be dying for more. WATCH SEASON 1 NOW!

MARK VINZANT Q & A
What was your inspiration and what is the message that you wanted to convey with Lessons Lived and In The Blink of an eye? The inspiration of Lessons Lived was simply my growth as a human being. They say if you are the same person in your 30s as you were in your 20s then you have not grown. Now, at half a century I"ve looked over my life and the guilt I've held for those I've wronged, and the anger I held for those that have wrong me have become exhausting. It is in the now I wish to live and enjoy life without the blemishes of my past. And while some people understand forgiveness is actually for the person that forgives, most do not. My inspiration is in the hopes that people will stop for a moment and take responsibility, and forgive the dump stuff. In Lessons Lived I wanted to convey forgiveness as that overall message, and I chose the loss of life as the instrument for that forgiveness. But I also wanted to illustrate a reflection of our own lives as weight against the main characters' (Bertha) journey to understand why her grandson was murdered. Guided through a spiritual tone, "He without sin cast the first stone" adage, I wanted to also convey forgiveness is a two way street, and we must look in the mirror and forgive our own actions in order to find peace and understanding of what forgiveness truly is.
The inspiration of, In The Blink of an Eye is truly my own story. I was released from federal prison and embarked on a quest to change my life. It was Theatre that opened the door for me to enter into a new beginning, and I took full advantage of the opportunities that made themselves available, and found if I stayed focused and determined after each door closed, another would open. In The Blink of an Eye I wanted to convey that change can come as fast as that, literally in a blink of an eye. The good and the bad can come when least expected. Importantly, I wanted to illustrate how a person of color can transform their lives from one extreme to another when they focus on that transformation, and I used the depths of a prison to show how the impossible can become the possible if only one can stay devoted to the task at hand. What led you to do a documentary about Taste Of Trauma. I made Taste of Trauma after years of limited medical care through our country's current medical insurance provisions. I became injured after a disabling injury accident while in custody of the U.S Marshals while being transported. After 8 months without proper medical care I was released and immediately sought medical care for spinal injury. I was provided some treatment in the form of prescription medication and physical therapy. After several years, and my reluctance in continuing a regiment in Western medicine

to defend myself, and not much has changed in that regard. After my release from prison in a neck & back brace I felt compelled to tell the story, but no one listened. I litigated three civil suits in Federal Courts in pro-se to get someone to listen, and that didn't happen. While I educated myself in law, I also educated myself in Psychology, Sociology and behavioral Sciences, and graduated with four Associates Degrees. After learning the human condition I studied film and theatre performance at Berkeley and graduated with dual Degrees. After the academics I embarked on practical applications and applied to the University of Southern California MFA in Cinema Arts and Television Production. That was the path I took to become a filmmaker, the determination to transform my life. My hopes and dreams for my future are to secure a career in the arts and make conscious media that opens the minds of the spectator and teaches anew. It takes continued opportunities from platforms like The On Channel that will further my path, and seek my resolve.
I sought out treatment from a holistic prescriber and found Chinese Traditional Medicine relieved my pain condition considerably. However, it was my course at USC and Pablo Frasconi's Global Exchange Workshop that provided the components for the film. My partner Gavin Xi from China and I made the film after collaborating and that opened the door to making the documentary Taste Of Trauma. How did you become a filmmaker and what are your hopes and dreams when it comes to your future? I have watched a world change forever in the wrong direction, and I needed to tell what I've seen and experienced to try and make change. As a biracial child I grew up having

PERCEPTIONS Brings an ALL-STAR Cast to ON!
Logline: A couple gets caught in the middle of a crossfire between masked men arguing between justice and “tradition.” Perceptionis a short film that takes a raw and honest look into the heartbeat of our society’s ongoing battle between law enforcement and in large part, black America. The number of young black males killed by U.S. police is at the highest point ever in our country’s history. Despite making up only 2% of the total US population, African American males between the ages of 15 and 34 comprised more than 15% of all deaths logged this year by an ongoing investigation into the use of deadly force by police. Their rate of police-involved deaths was five times higher than for white men of the same age. As opposed to simply regurgitating more statistics and charts, the creators of Perception felt it their duty and obligation to bring a very uncomfortable light to such a dark sore in our culture. Perception doesn’t just highlight the problem, this film looks to spark conversation, action and change. Yes, art imitates life, but Perception looks to use this art to influence new direction Directed by Charles Jones, written by Chad Quinn, produced by Dale Stelly, DoP Dana Rice - featuring Charles Malik Whitfield, Malinda Williams, Omarr Salgado, Vida Guerra, Fernando Chien, Alimi Ballard, Wendy Davis, Terrell Tilford, Edward Fordham, CIsco Reyes and Nelcie Souffrant.

Why did I create I GOT THE POWER? And why did I choose that as my television show title? The show was created to display POSITIVE actions and show a beautiful outcome of each and every challenge that life brings us. I included past and new encounters in music, pop culture, art, films and more. I definitely encountered a few challenges while creatively directing and filming I GOT THE POWER. I was wholeheartedly making decisions for both my personal life and entertainment life. I was Trying to be balanced with both. Some of the decisions I made. I allowed to happen, others things happened that I had no control over. Despite loosing footage that was captured over the past two years and others things I rather not speak on. COVID-19 took the world by throat and choked it to the point we are still wearing mask now!
Covid-19 caused my premier date to be pushed back twice. These delays have caused me to have anxiety and depression. However, I still carried on my every day routines. I remained up beat, and encouraged others. I continued to push forward and continued making new acquaintances. But I needed encouragement and support myself. I had a DEADLINE to meet for The ON! Channel. Luckily, I able was to get back on track despite the World making a different Agenda with shutting down and causing health, financial, and LIFE concerns. I was making progress. My MINDSET was different. Then LIFE hit again! The passing of my grandmother In April 2020. Put a dent In my heart and I was handling everything internally. Not even giving myself time to moan properly. My family wasn’t even allowed to have a proper funeral for my grandmother because of the restrictions from COVID-19.
Everything was changing before me. I felt I let her down. I started doubting if I should even continue filming since I was facing issues with getting consistent filming done. I gave my grandmother My word that she would be able to see my achievements on Television. She gave me detailed instructions on how I should be able to display myself without any resistance. With her passing , I was left in a foggy area. I didn’t give up! I played smarter. I have a GREAT TEAM now. “ I GOT THE POWER to control myself, not others. So now you will have to tune into the ON! CHannel for the premiere of “I GOT THE POWER” (smiling)I have included others that I know will have a wonderful journey to show display along with me! Always remember. Your biggest failure is if you Never Try. Don’t let your fear destroy you.

MEET DANNY ROYCE HOST OF INSIDE THE BLACK ACTORS STUDIO
Inside the Black Actors Studio (IBAS) Season 1 is currently on the ON! Channel. The concept of IBAS was born in November 2018. Danny Royce hosted a plethora of after shows including This Is Us, The Walking Dead, and Empire on Afterbuzz TV. The network is owned by renowned host Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro. These after shows gained Danny popularity within the network. The owners presented Danny with an opportunity to host and produce his own show on Black Hollywood Live Network; a sister network of ABTV. Many ideas bounced around but Danny knew it needed to focus on acting. After much brainstorming IBAS was born. February 21st marked the series season premiere. Danny was a fan of Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton and wanted to build upon the series. He felt that there was no real representation of people of color on the show. IBAS was created to showcase the lives of some of the most prestigious entertainers in the Black community. Giving them a voice. Learning more about our heroes and legends. comedy”, I do! “You write dramedies”, yes I do. “And animation”, yes! And there's a tendency in this business for people to put you in a box— “Oh she only writes comedy”, “she only writes drama”, and for some people that's true. For me it just happens not to be true, and so it's always an uphill battle to say: “Hey, I can do that too”! Give me a pen and paper, give me a computer... I write! When you continually try to perfect your craft, and be the best at what you do, I think that helps overcome those obstacles that people try to place in your way. HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE INDUSTRY? I started working in the entertainment industry in Chicago. I worked at one of the city’s top full-service production houses, and I was actually brought in by a very good friend of mine to this very day. We've been friends since college, Kerri Kuziel Sherman, shout out to Kuz, that’s my girl! And from there I went to work for a production company for an executive producer, I assisted him. And so I really sort of learned the business like backwards, from post production, to production to development, but it was pretty cool. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE INDUSTRY? Some of the jobs that Ive had in entertainment... Let's see, I've been a receptionist at a post production company, an assistant to an executive producer, and an assistant to a show runner I've been a graphics producer and in credits for a network I've been a development assistant, a Writers Guild Trainee. There were a lot of stepping stones to get to just being a writer, but I will say that all of those positions taught me something that helped me become a better writer, become a better producer, become a better director, because I needed everything along the way, you know, from production to post-production to development to really help turn me into the creator that I am. So whatever job that you have to do, do it well! Take from it the knowledge that you can, and you use it to move on and hit the next level! WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED? The best piece of advice I ever received was never let anyone define who you. I think in this business there is a tendency for people to tell you who you are, probably more so they want to tell you who you are not. So you have to be very grounded and have tons of self- confidence and self-esteem because if you listen to them, they will get you off of your path, they will get you off of your track, they will get you off of your purpose. You have to have a very clear idea of who you are. You may not know where you're going or how you’re going to get there you, but you need to know who you are! WHERE CAN WE FIND YOUR CONTENT? I was approached to write the short film "Thinking Blue" by its Executive Producer, Chris Christmas. Mr. Christmas was the product of a foster home and wanted to create a piece that spoke to uplifting and inspiring children in the foster care system. He allowed me some creative license with the storyline. I told him that I wanted to show that bullying usually begins at home, so I showed the kid who was being a bully, learning the behavior from his foster father. However, the genuine kindness from the kid he was bullying, forever changed him. Sometimes, all it takes is for one person to really see who we are and speak positivity into our spirit in order for us to see ourselves the way they do. The short film was shot over 3 days on location in Denver, CO using local talent.
Men of Color Summit, Real Talk, from Segment Producer, Benja K. Thomas, it is time for the men to have their say. A time for men of color to speak their truths, share their pain and be able to unapologetically and without fear of being seen as anything less than strong men of color, speak about their mental, physical and spiritual status. We were so honored to turn the platform over to the fellas for the day and as it was such a huge success, have plans to bring them back on in the fall. Please watch, share and keep up with our show, support Black Owned, such as Mo Wood's the ON Channel for which we are so grateful to be a part of.

Gabrielle Collins
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF? I'm Gabrielle Collins. I’m a writer, producer, director for film and television. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF? I would describe myself as creative, obviously! A risk-taker, I try to think outside of the box. Sometimes I end up in the box, sometimes underneath the box. I am funny, I am goofy, a big goofy, silly. I think all of that helps keep me young. I’m geeky, nerdy, what else am I? Compassionate, a dog lover. I’m so many things, but all of them good I think! My cousin would say I'm crazy. Sure, you’ve got to be a little bit crazy to be in this business, so I'll take it. HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS? I would define success as small victories. I think many times we look at the end goal, we look at the apex of the mountain and we think that’s when we will have succeeded, but every small victory, every battle that you've won along the journey on that road to get to the top of the mountain, you’ve succeeded! And for me I think that’s what I would define as success, you know? Because it gives you enough to keep going. WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED ON YOUR JOURNEY TO SUCCESS? Some of the challenges that I’ve faced on my journey I still feel seem to face even today, which is battling against stereotypes. People wanting to pigeonhole me. I feel like people will read my stuff and if they've never met me they’re surprised to find out A) I'm Black; B) I'm a woman; C) I look younger than what they thought that I would look like. And so people will say: “Oh well you write comedy”, yes I do. “You write drama”, yes I do. “You

Chris Bethune, the Shows correspondent, added "The Mens Summit is important because we are not gifted with opportunities to be vulnerable, to share our vulnerabilities and to be able to offer solutions during those moments. Men are socialized to believe showing emotion makes you weak but in a time where so many men are struggling, mental health is ravaging our community and we are fighting on all fronts it these conversations are pertinent for the next generation. An Actor's Life: the Series original, was created out of the need of one actor, Michele Baldwin (Creator/Host/EP) to help create content and a platform for herself and her fellow thespians, while providing inspiration in the journey of life for all. With no funding to rent a studio, Benja K. Thomas (Host/Segment Producer/Talent Coordinator), graciously offered Michele the use of her apartment and the two went flying with interviews and chatting with fellow actors. Fastforward, almost 10 years later, Michele, in exploring creativity during Covid-19, reached out and repitched the show to Benja, after having 2020 re-birthing plans halted. Recently they added three new team members, Malissa Myers, Show Correspondent and Co-Producers, T Renee' Mathis and Angela Trotter. Five Fearless Ladies. In launching the Rewind version, Michele shared a grander sense of wanting to speak with others and to give them a platform to share their feelings on the status of the world; via Covid-19 and the rise of racism and the overwhelmingly growing issues of the killings of black and brown people. During our first episode on The ON Channel,

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE INDUSTRY? Some of the jobs that Ive had in entertainment... Let's see, I've been a receptionist at a post production company, an assistant to an executive producer, her assistant to a show runner I've been a lower thirds graphics producer and in credits for a network I've been a development assistant, a Writers Guild Trainee. HOW DO YOU STAY GROUNDED? How do I stay grounded? That’s very easy. No one knows who I am! But even if they did, I have the type of family and friends who would remind me exactly who I am and where I came from, so that would never be an issue for me. Trust! WHAT 2 ACTIVITIES COULD YOU DO ALL DAY WITHOUT GETTING BORED AND WHY? The two activities that I could do all day and not get bored is: Stay in bed... absolutely stay in bed. Oh I could stay in bed, I could sleep. When I wake up I can go back to sleep because in this business you can never get enough sleep because you seem to not get any hardly. Yes, definitely! I could stay in bed all day, entire day. Sleep, watch television, eat my food, all in bed. The other thing is write! I could literally write all day and never get bored because there are so many stories up here, there are so many characters and they take me on a journey, they absolutely take me on a journey. I never know what they’re going to do or where they’re going to go, so that never gets boring. WHAT TURNS ON YOUR CREATIVITY? I don't think there is one thing that I could like pinpoint this that I can say oh this is you know what turns on my creativity because I literally get sparks of creativity from everything everyone from everywhere it could be a song that I listen to a a could be a television show that I watch it could be it could be a song that I listen to it could be a television show that I watch it could be a table of people next to me having a conversation and I’ll hear a line that they say and think that would be a great line for a character to say! So really inspiration for me is all around me all day, everyday, and I just pull what I need. That’s it! BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED. T The best piece of advice I ever received was “Never let anyone define who you”. So... WHAT DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE? What I know for sure is that I am a talented writer, a talented producer, a talented director, and overall content creator. And I am working so hard and diligently to bring my audience the best content possible because I believe that art touches lives, it changes lives, and I feel a responsibility to tell our stories, to tell them well, to be true to them and make sure that I am creating stories and characters that are three-dimensional, where you can watch it and you can say... I see myself in that character or I see my friends in that character or that story is similar to mine. And so I'm working hard to bring that to you, that’s what I know. NEW SEASON COMING SOON
Apple’s CEO once said the future of TV was apps. However, the years following showed little growth in TV apps and staggering growth in streaming services that host both TV and movies. It’s safe to say that the future of TV, movies and audio is streaming. Streaming services have revolutionized how we consume content. Netflix alone has more than 167 million paying subscribers at their lowest price of $9.99 ranging up to $15.99. That generates over $1.6 billion each month and nearly $19 billion or more for the year. Much of the success of the streaming movie and TV business is due to the convenience and pricing of the service.
As we move further into 2020, we see that there is no shortage on content streaming on the internet. One of our goals at The ON! Channel and with The ON! Channel Magazine is to continue to get better and give opportunity to those who are ready for it. Streaming online content is the future and The ON! Channel with The ON! Channel Magazine and Tv Guide has it’s finger on the pulse of this change and plans to ride this streaming wave non-stop into even greater success. Nearly $20 – 25 billion dollars or more will be spent on Streaming Content in 2020 and The ON! Channel will be a part of distributing a lot of that content and also creating original content. A wise person once said two things that ring true and that is; your network is your net worth and great content is king so when marketed right it can make you rich. It did for MJ.

When compared to the price of cable, customers can get instant access to their favorite content at a fraction of the price and normally on all their devices with internet access. On-demand viewing also makes niche content more accessible and provides something for everyone. Instead of waiting a week between episodes and sitting through commercials, we now watch shows more like how readers read books by bingeing them and enjoying delicious, uninterrupted experiences. movies, many streaming services are now creating their own content and have turned into full-fledged production studios. This is also a part of The ON! Channels plan of action moving into the future. This in the long run helps us to hedge against other studios jacking up prices on licensing content or withholding content altogether. In 2019, 85% of Netflix’s new spending went towards original programming were as ten years prior that number was Zero. Original programming has entered a world of niche content and increased representation of often overlooked people and stories.
Paranormal Activity movie franchise started with a $15k investment and has grossed a combined $896 million The BLAIR WITCH PROJECT costs $35k and grossed over $248 million Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman, costing $5 million and grossed $58 million GET OUT cost $5 million and grossed $251 million OPEN WATER cost $500k and grossed $52 million Fruitvale Station cost $900k and grossed $23 million War Room cost $3 million and grossed $120 million My Big Fat Greek Wedding cost $5 million and grossed $368 million. There are many other examples where the returns on the investment was at least three times anything done by securities listed on the New York Stock Exchange, the S&P 500 or the NASDAQ. It is a fact that there are not many products that can be built from scratch for less than six figures and earns millions other than the streaming movie and TV entertainment business. One recent example was Hip-Hop Rap Legend “Nas” in 2014 through Queens Bridge Ventures his investing company decided to take a chance and invested into the startup streaming TV service “Pluto TV” an ad-supported “free” streaming service that aired older movies and TV shows 24 hours a day similar to Hulu, and within 4 years of its start it sold to media giant Viacom for $345 million. If you were an investor on this deal you would have been paid extremely well on the execution of the deal itself, including the
future growth earnings of the company.Every day, there are millions of new content watchers born and coming online who have not seen ANY of the content currently out. They have not seen it in the theaters, downloaded off the internet, video on demand (VOD) or subscription video on demand (SVOD) in their home or on cable or free television; they have not read any books based on the script or listened to any music from the movie sound tracks. All these people will be available at some time or other to listen to your content or watch both the new and old content out and the future predicts that content will be watched on a streaming platform similar to The ON! Channel. Keep in mind that a movie that is a total flop in 1990 will be a collector's item in the year 2030, and you would be able to find it streaming online which benefits everyone involved in the content which includes the investor. With all of the above reasons including the new markets, such as China, Africa and India with billions of new potential English-speaking movie goers coming online each year it would only be in an investor’s best interest to take a serious look at the Streaming Movie and TV Entertainment Business for their next great investment. ///Written by Brookshire Lafayette Chief Content Officer for The ON! Channel for the 2nd Addition of The ON! Channel Digital Magazine & TV Guide.
Looking into the future I believe investing into a streaming movie and TV service if you are so lucky to have the opportunity to do so is the best investment one can make for the up-side potential vs. the risk. Because the streaming services houses film and TV content, creates content and distributes that content for paying subscribers to have access to content when they want it and where they want it, you now have a gold mine as an investment that will keep growing like Disney, Amazon and Netflix. The streaming movie and TV entertainment business has become better than real estate, blue chip stocks, gold, silver, income-producing rental properties and better than most investments, with the possible exception of investing in your own education, children and spiritual enlightenment. There simply is no business with manufacturing capital entry requirements as low as a streaming service where the potential return can be as unlimited over the short, medium and long terms. For instance, let’s look at being an investor in creating original content, a movie such as Paranormal Activity, shot with a home video camera costing as little as $15k to make and grossed over $194 million which is over 12,000 times more than the budget amount. Also the content is produced once and it does not stop earning money for a lifetime. Other low budget and micro budget movies doing the same thing are:

grace and permission for occasional misses so you stay motivated to get back to your program. That may mean waiting for a cold to pass and doing less strenuous workouts at home or making extra healthy choices at mealtime in advance of an indulgent event. To help make keeping your commitments easier, consider an option like RiduZone to boost your body's natural appetite-curbing power. Find more information to help jump-start your weight management program at TryRiduZone.com. What is OEA? Oleoylethanolamide (OEA) is a metabolite of oleic acid, a naturally produced substance that interacts with appetite-controlling receptors in the small intestine to signal the brain you are full. It also helps boost metabolism. However, as a result of food choices and excess body fat, naturally produced OEA may require supplementation to achieve the desired effect on appetite or body fat. Created to mimic this naturally occurring metabolite, RiduZone is the only weight management supplement that contains OEA as an ingredient. Its production has been reviewed and is accepted as safe by the Food and Drug Administration. Less fat A clinical study published in the "Journal of Lipid Research" shows higher blood levels of OEA, which is derived from oleic acid-rich olive oil, correlate to lower amounts of body fat. This means weight loss results may be more visible. Fewer calories A prominent research study published in the journal "Food & Function" shows higher circulating levels of OEA can result in a significant reduction in calorie intake. Over time, OEA users become satisfied with smaller, healthier-sized portions.
HEALTH
Make Your Weight Loss Goals a Reality Losing weight is a highly personal journey as a wide range of factors can affect a person's ability to do so. There's no one approach to weight loss; rather, the best approach is the one that fits your life and body best. Get motivated to reach your weight loss goals with these expert tips. Set realistic goals. Most experts agree you shouldn't lose more than 1-2 pounds per week. More rapid loss may shock your system, and chances are you're depriving your body of important nutrients. More aggressive loss is also less likely to be permanent or sustainable; long-term results generally come with steady loss over a period of time. Eat well. Regardless what eating plan you choose, recognize the importance of nutrition in your weight loss program. Weight loss occurs when you burn more calories than you consume, so build your menu around nutrient-rich foods that fill you up. Strive for a well-balanced diet that encompasses all the food groups and, if necessary, discuss your goals with a doctor or nutritionist who can help you identify the best foods to enjoy and those to avoid. Consider a supplement. If managing cravings or your appetite hinders your weight loss, a supplement may be a good solution. For example, RiduZone is a patented supplement that gives your body more of a substance it already creates called Oleoylethanolamide (OEA). In essence, OEA tells your brain you are full and it's time to stop eating. Developed and endorsed by Dr. Jay Yepuri, a board-certified gastroenterologist, the supplement is a non-stimulant that may help you feel full faster to reduce caloric intake and boost metabolism to burn stored fat. Get active. Creating a calorie deficit is necessary to lose weight, and increasing your physical activity helps ensure you're burning calories. However, getting active isn't just about playing the numbers game. Physical activity also promotes overall wellness with numerous physical and mental health benefits, including improving circulation and stimulating feel-good endorphins. Stay committed. It's easy to fall off your weight loss plan when unexpected circumstances arise. Give yourself a little
Karla Mosley and Lawrence Saint Victor joined B&B as Maya and Carter in January 2013, and although their characters crossed paths romantically, they were never married. In real Life both are married and bring those experiences to Robert and Denise’s story in Wed-Locked. Joining them in the endeavor are co-directors Tina Huang (Rizzoli & Isles, Linda, General Hospital, Josie, Days of our Lives) and Malcolm Barrett (The Hurt Locker), as well as producer/newlywed Tricia Levesque (Withdrawal). Several other of their famous friends make appearances as well on the series thats being called "Really Funny," "Comic and chemistry magic," and "Amazing use of these talented actors."
Sonequa Martin-Green and Kenric Green
On the soap opera Guiding Light, they fell in love, or at least their characters did. On the Bold and The Beautiful, They somewhat lived separate lives with separate loves. However, off screen the two talented actors were creating a love story for themselves, but not in the way you were thinking. Knowing the on screen chemistry was real, Lawrence Saint Victor and Karla Mosley decided to create something on their own. What they came up with was the comedy Wed-Locked. Wed-Locked originally debuted back in 2009 when Mosley and Saint Victor played Guiding Light’s Christine and Remy. At the time, as well as playing a married couple on the soap opera, Saint Victor had been married for three years and Mosley was about to wed. The duo wanted to explore the realities of being newlyweds from the perspective of people of color. The series chronicled the ups and downs in the lives of the newly married Robert (Saint Victor) and Denise (Mosley).
3 Holiday Activities to Engage with Loved Ones Any time can be the right time to enjoy memorable moments with family members, but the holidays present a special opportunity to have meaningful conversations and interactions with loved ones. One of the best ways to spark creativity and generate memories is through activities that get the conversation started, whether it's remembering favorite moments from the past or simply sharing notes of appreciation. This holiday season, consider these activity ideas from the Funeral and Memorial Information Council, which created the "Have the Talk of a Lifetime" initiative to encourage families to facilitate conversations that become invaluable when the time comes to honor a loved one. While these conversations can be difficult to engage in and even harder to begin, the natural bonding moments that stem from activities like these can help make the process easier. Gratitude Tree Start a new tradition by creating a gratitude tree, a simple decoration you can look forward to using each year as a reminder of what you and your family are thankful for. To make a gratitude tree, collect twigs or branches, dry them out and cut them to the desired lengths. Put the branches in a vase or decorative container. Punch holes at the tops of fall-colored paper to be used as tags then instruct guests to write what they're grateful for on each tag. Take turns reading the tags and tie them to the branches then keep the handwritten tags in a safe place until they can be read again each holiday season. Over the years, as the tree fills up, you'll have a lifetime of memories to share.

Kenric Green is a writer and actor who is also known for a role on The Walking Dead and Star Trek. "We have decided to jump on board and produce Wed-Locked as well as make an appearance in it," Sonequa shared in an Instagram video. "It's so funny... so compelling...It's a good one."

Use a sealed container or plastic bag to protect items from moisture and mold then place the container in a box that can be decorated and stored in a safe place with related holiday decorations. Mark on the container the date it was created for future reference, and pack it with items like family-favorite recipes; notes about significant events from that year like births, weddings, graduations and more; copies of newspapers detailing high-profile happenings; and pictures, drawings and notes from the year. If you're patient enough to wait, try leaving the contents undisturbed at least five years to give the memories even more meaning when the time comes to relive those special moments. Memories Tablecloth To help keep important family footnotes front and center during future celebrations, a memorial tablecloth provides each person an opportunity to personalize a piece of popular decor. As you gather around the table for holiday meals, ask each family member to jot down a favorite memory or something he or she is thankful for along with a signature and date. You can make it an annual event by using the same tablecloth each year and, before long, it will be filled with personal memories as a way to cherish relationships as time goes on. Just use an appropriately sized, inexpensive white canvas drop cloth. Place fabric markers in the center of the table before inviting guests to participate, and to help distinguish each year, try using different colored markers.
