in 9 easy steps.
Import your InDesign file to Lucidpress
Log in to Lucidpress. In the top-left, click New > InDesign Import.
Select the IDML version of your file. Click Open, then Import.
An error box will show any missing fonts or images. Upload your fonts from Document fonts of your packaged InDesign folder. Upload your images from the Links folder.
Note: Some of your fonts may not match.
Images will not match if they are not in a supported format. Remember: PSD, AI, and PDFs are automatically converted to JPEGs.
Find any missing images that were in an unsupported format. Click the red (!) triangle.
You can find the missing image or replace it.
If a font did not match, highlight the text and manually change the font in the right context pane.
If the font is missing, but is displaying the correct font, click the red (!) triangle and then Keep Default Font.
For more info about fonts, click here.
If you see a red (+) symbol, click it to expand text boxes as needed. If this doesn't expand the text box fully, resize the text box.
If a text box has incorrect line spacing, click the text box. In the right context pane, adjust the spacing and paragraph spacing under Spacing.
You are now ready to add Lucidpress features!
