Getting your Vaccine
Everyone age 12 and older is eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine in New York state. Walk-ins are now accepted for all regional health department and state-run clinics and some pharmacies. Those being vaccinated at their pharmacy can make an appointment or check with their pharmacy to see if they accept walk-ins. NOTE: Currently, only the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine can be given to those 12 and older. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are for use in those 18 and older. If you or someone you know is homebound and would like a vaccine, visit https://homeboundvacprogram.org/ to register or refer someone for the homebound vaccination program.

Monroe County Clinics Pfizer Vaccine Clinics These clinics are administering the Pfizer vaccine and are open to individuals age 12 and older. Those younger than 18, with few exceptions, will need parent or guardian consent to receive the vaccine. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome. Those who receive their COVID-19 vaccine at one of these Monroe County vaccine clinics or at a Finger Lakes COVID-19 Vaccine Hub clinic in the City of Rochester between July 7 and July 31 will be entered into a weekly drawing for a pair of tickets to the ROC Summer Soul Festival and for other incentives such as $25 gift cards and memberships to The Strong Museum of Play. Drawings will be held on Sundays beginning July 11, and names of winners will be shared on the ROC Summer Soul Festival website and announced on WDKX-FM (103.9).
