PIERCE ADVISORY & ACCOUNTANCY GROUP - A BUSINESS WE CAN COUNT ON
Slightly later than planned this season due to Covid the lads stood in front of the cameras for the annual photo shoot. And for many seasons now Pierce Advisory & Accountancy Group have continued to support the club and this season for the first time the Blackburn based company take pride of place on the front and back of the sqaud tracksuit. Due to Covid and the restrictions placed on clubs in tier 3 it was important that Bacup Borough continued to connect with supporters during these difficult times. And with the restrictions in place and supporters unable to travel to away fixtures the Boro Live-Streaming was born - PPV - Per Per View was introduced, allowing for supporters to watch the game away at Barnton FC in the FA Vase from the comfort of their living rooms. Not only was it a step forward for the club it was also a massive step forward for revenue. And the potential for advertisers to increase their business exposure through video promos.

Before Christmas the club was unfortunately broken in to. And after several phones calls a good friend of the manager, Darren Quick, assisted by installing security cameras around the club. Darren who is a former player himself and now Sales Director of Cornerstone Security Limited gladly obliged and made the club and premises secure. To say thank you for the service we received Bacup Borough Media Productions gladly produced this short promo for the company.
Another good friend of the club, Liam Boardman offered his garden and grounds services in order to clean up the dugout and technical areas of the pitch. For quite some time now the dugouts have been in need of repair and Liam spent a considerable amount of time bringing the two dugouts up to scratch in horrible conditions. Talking to the manager Brent Peters, he said. "Both Darren Quick and Liam Boardman are god sends in my opinion. We could not afford to have this work done during this current climate. Money is in short supply and what they have done is amazing...Thank you!"

BORO SIGN UP WITH UNBRANDED TO MAKE THE PERFECT TEAM
2020/21 wasn't just the start of a new season it was also the start of a new kit partnership with Unbranded, a new company with a bright future. The specially designed kits and training wear are extremely eye catching and fashionable. Over the Christmas period the online shop has been very busy with all the sportswear being delivered personally by unbranded making sure that nobdy was left disappointed. It's a great partnership and one we hope will continue for many years to come.
Bacup Borough supporter Eddie Robinson honoured the memory of his nephew Bryan Herbert who sadly passed away 8 years ago at the young age of 27. Bryan was a former Boro player and his uncle, Eddie decided that one way of remembering his nephew was to contribute to the clubs new unbranded kit. In this photo Eddie is pictured with Boro midfielder, Aidan Hussey. Everybody at the club would like to thank Eddie for his kind and genourous contribution.
PARTNERS AND ADVERTISERS ARE PARAMOUNT TO OUR SUCCESS
Boro central defender Ross Mallinson celebrated his birthday on January 6th - Ross has been with the club for the past 18 months after coming from the local amateur league. This season he has really come of age with several quality performances at the back. Great levels of composure and strength under pressure. A fans favourite.

MALLINSON CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY
The manager, Brent Peters was out and about just before Christmas delivering presents and good will to our North West Counties counterparts Avro FC of Oldham. Back in November Paul Armstrong asked Brent for a Christmas gift and at the time he was presenting players with football boots supplied by Leicester City midfielder and Bacup lad, Matty James. The Boro manager drove over to Oldham to surprise Paul with a winter jacket. Great gesture from the manager...

THE SPORTS BAR SHOW GOES LIVE ON CHRISTMAS DAY
Boro captain, Michael Gervin is taking to the roads in January to raise valuable funds for Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The captain has decided to run 150 miles during January in a quest to raise much needed funds and stay in shape whilst the team are in lockdown. Chatting to the Boro number 10 he had this to say. "Lockdown has been really difficult for all of us and the constant stop start hasn't helped one bit. I've decided to do something positive while we are in this situation, and I couldn't think of a better cause than Christie's in Manchester." Talking to the captain on the phone he seemed in good spirits. "Yes, I'm doing ok. I'm still working and keeping in contact with the lads through zoom chat and social media, but I do need to shift a few extra pounds that I have put on over the festive period. By doing this I'll achieve two things. One, I'll hopefully raise a bit of money for Christie. And two, I'll get myself fit. It works out at about 6 miles a day constantly through January." Michael has been a tower of strength for the lads since receiving the armband in the summer. If anybody would like to donate to this fantastic cause you can do so by clicking on the link below.
