K-8 Math Teachers
This is an opportunity to collaborate with specific grade-level teachers in a virtual professional learning community. This is especially helpful for teachers that are singletons in their school or teachers that don’t have scheduled time for collaborating. The PLC model embraces three big ideas including a focus on learning, a focus on a collaborative culture and a focus on achieving results. This PLC will meet throughout the second semester of the 2020-21 school year to address the following four questions:
What do we want all students to know and be able to do?
How will we know if they have learned it?
How will we respond when some students do not learn?
How will we extend the learning for students who are already proficient?
