Dan NEWTON has lived in Brittany since 1986 and has been in the real estate business pretty well ever since, working his way up the ladder, to finally become fully licensed in his own right here in France. His family was recognised as starting the British market up in Central Brittany, back in 1986, and ever since has always kept ahead of the market trends, some might say even a trend setter.
Sheelagh Gorham has over 30 years of direct sales experience and worked for many years for a well known French agency specialising in British buyers. Based in Normandy, Sheelagh was looking for ways to develop the business when she was offered the exciting opportunity to join Dan to create an innovative, forward thinking agency together.
As a result Agence NEWTON - My-French-Home.com was born.
We presently cover Brittany and Normandy in the north-west of France, and the Quercy, Perigord, Correze and Limousin regions, but we are looking to expand to cover all the popular areas of France

The Client Management Sytem "Immo Facile" by AC3 Group
Over the years Dan NEWTON and Agence NEWTON have tried out every bilingual real estate software package available in France. To finally chose the Immo Facile system. After our experience it is the most complete system on the market, the most innovative and yet very easy to use. The software is capable of integrating most of the latest real estate technological features such Videos, virtual tours, etc.
The system is run on external secured servers, meaning that wherever you are you can connect to the software as long as you have an internet connection and a web browser, whether it is on PC, Mac or Ipad, tablet or smart phone. Once you have logged in with your own private password, the interface allows you to do the following:
· Preparation of the property details, transfer to the website and follow up of same
· Management of the multi-diffusions of your properties onto the different portals

And how can Agence NEWTON do this? Quite simply because our goal is not to make money off of your back without you earning an income, we only make money when you make money!
We cover the cost of our in-house adverting and the software etcetera, you just need to take care of your clients.
We will give you 55% of any commission (HT) you make for the company, no monthly charge, no advertising costs, just a one-off payment of 300 €uros HT which covers the cost of your "license", 6 months software access and advertising, first lot of visiting cards, flyers and for sale signs.
Your own private client database
When you decide to join Agence NEWTON, you will be given your own confidential login to the management system. This is because amongst other things, you will have your own private client database.
Your client database is your source of income, so it is down to you to manage it
All agents will have access to all of your property details, but not the owner’s details, it is down to you whether you wish to share the details with a fellow agent or not.
If a potential client requests details about one of your properties, the request is sent directly to your mail box and is automatically incorporated into your database.
Example of fee progression
So, if you sell a house every month for an average price of 200,000 €uros net, your annual turnover would be: (12 X House price X 6% fees, less TVA X Your commission rate)
55% = 66,000 €uros
All though we don't expect you to do this at the beginning, 1 house per month is far from a "tall order", in fact in the good months you could even do 2-4 sales! So, you can at least double those figures!
Why is Agence NEWTON different ?
As you no doubt know, there are many different commercial agent systems operating in France, when you look into them in detail you will realize that the majority are set up to make their money via the subscriptions and monthly payments from their commercial agents. For example, Capi France proudly announces on their website that they have 2900 commercial agents in France! Each agent pays 360 € per month for their advertising package, thus over 1MILLION EUROS per month turn over, or almost 12,500,000 €uros per year, WITHOUT even mentioning sales!
Besides the fact that this means an average of 29 commercial agents per department of France with an average of 6 properties per agent, which means that that are all fighting for the same market!
What’s more at Agence NEWTON, we do not have plans to over run France with commercial agents, although there is no fixed limit as such, we feel that a maximum of 4-5 agents per county (department) is easily enough, (depending on the geographical area you wish to cover). If each agent deals with +/- 30 properties, this will give us thousands of properties on one website.
