SCHOOL AGE (YOUTH) SIX - TWELVE YRS OLD
STAGE 1 / WATER ACCLIMATION : Kids develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water.

STAGE 4 / STROKE INTRODUCTION : Kids should be close to passing or have already passed the swim test for this level. Kids must tread at least 30 sec. and swim/float/swim 25 yrds without stopping to be in this class.

STAGE 5 & 6 / STROKE DEVELOPMENT & STROKE MECHANICS : Must be a green band (pass the swim test) to be in this class. Kids work on stroke technique & learn competitive strokes.
