Do you need an extension activity for those students that need a challenge? Inspire your math students to grow their math brain and build confidence in the March Math Madness challenge!
During the first four Tuesdays in March, a recorded math challenge will be sent to registered teachers to share with their teams. Students will have an opportunity to practice the Math Practice Standards as they collaborate and creatively solve math challenges. Student teams will submit their answers in a Google Form justifying their answer with pictures, numbers and/or words and group feedback will be given in the weekly recordings.
Students will be able to identify and use Math Practice Standards
Students will collaborate with a team to build higher-order math problem solving skills and positive attitudes about math
Recorded Weekly Math Challenges will be released to registered participants via email on the first four Tuesdays in March. Each recording will be available for one week from release date.

Each teacher can have up to 2 teams of 4 students.
Districts may register multiple teachers.
