No School - Thanksgiving Day
The Principal's Desk
THANK YOU to all parents and family members who helped make our Fall Parties a success. Students enjoyed the parade, the party, and all the yummy goodies, crafts, and games they enjoyed that afternoon. .
Since November is a month to remember things for which we are thankful, I’d like to take a moment to let you know how grateful I am to get to work with your children each day. The kids that come through our doors at Webster each day are wonderful students and caring young people. Thank you for sharing your children with us!
Wednesday, November 16th Picture Retakes
Wed-Fri, November 23-25 NO SCHOOL Thanksgiving Break
Well with cooler weather creeping in, I would like to take the time to remind all of you to please make sure your kids are dressed weather appropriate. They will almost always have outside recess unless it is raining. If you need help with clothing for your child, coats, shoes, etc. please let myself, your child’s teacher or our counselor know and we will do whatever we can do to help with that.
Also It has been a couple of months since our health fair and if your child brought a note home about needing to be seen by an eye doctor because they failed the vision screening and you have not had them checked out please do so. If your child is having trouble with their vision it can affect their ability to learn in the classroom and it can cause them to have unnecessary eye strain and headaches. If you do not have any insurance and cannot afford to take them to the eye doctor please let someone know there is a Lions Club eye bank fund that will pay for an eye exam for your child and a pair of glasses.
I hope you all have a very blessed holiday season and enjoy time with family and friends. It is a great pleasure to take care of your greatest blessings so if you need anything or have any concerns please never hesitate to call me.

Webster Elementary Nurse
Being responsible can be hard, especially for a 2nd or 3rd grader. Here at Webster Elementary we always encourage our students to be responsible by reinforcing the students to do their work, complete and return homework, and by taking their mail home at the end of the day. We also want to reinforce responsibility to our students by making sure they are dressed appropriately as the weather starts to change and get cooler. Please help us to remind our children to be responsible and bring jackets to wear at recess or on the way to the bus.
November Counseling Lessons will focus on Getting Along with Others, Bullying, and Tattling/Reporting.
Our lost and found collection is growing every day. If your child is missing coats, jackets, shirts, pants, lunchboxes, jewelry or any prized posession, have them stop by the Lost and Found in Ms. Owens' class, Room 2.
Buddy Benches Make Grand Debut
Missing: Your Stuff
Students in Mr. Aaron Veeneman's Industrial Technology classes built Buddy Benches for the Webster playground. The benches, which were installed in late October, offer a place for students to sit when they're feeling lonely and want someone to play with. The benches have been a great success. Thanks so much to Mr. Veeneman and the high school students for bringing these to our school!
