The Show
TAPwrap is a podcast exploring threat assessment and related fields, including forensic psychology & psychiatry, criminal law, workplace health & safety, and corporate security. It delves into practice, research, and developments in targeted violence, stalking and fixated threats, counter-terrorism & close protection, with a strong focus on cybercrime and online interpersonal harm. A relaxed and informal discussion atmosphere takes the edge off the heavy subject matter, as an alternative to the seriousness of structured training and professional development events. TAPwrap is published by Right In The Head as a free online resource and does not contain commercial advertising.
Luke & Annabel are forensic mental health specialists and co-directors of Right In The Head Threat Management & Psychological Services, providing primary assessment, consultation, training, supervision, and policy development in threat assessment and management. The Hosts
THE PROCESS
A TAPwrap discussion is typically 15 minutes to an hour, at the convenience of the participants. Either one-to-one with the hosts or on a small panel of guests. Each episode runs to an agenda of topics, but guests are encouraged to introduce tangents and information for discussion as the episode progresses. To ensure privacy and accountability, full audio of the podcast body (without introduction and endnotes) will be provided to guests via email at least five working days prior to publication of the podcast. Snacks and drinks are provided for each recording by the TAPwrap hosts!
THE REWARD
Participation in a TAPwrap episode is not remunerated, but provides guests with opportunities to promote events, research, training, or products relevant to the field of threat management, raise their professional profile, and make connections with other professionals, all in the course of a great discussion!
