By introducing Healthy Roster to the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets, Orthopedic ONE is now available at every game and every practice via the Healthy Roster mobile app. Orthopedic ONE athletic trainers upload each Ohio AAA Blue Jackets team roster and then invite the parents of each player to join as well. The Healthy Roster app provides a HIPAA compliant mobile communication loop between AT, coach, and players/parents.
When an injury occurs, anyone connected to the athlete can input the injury. When the injury is entered, an alert goes out immediately to everyone connected to the athlete (parent, coach, athletic trainer).
So, if the U15 Ohio AAA Blue Jackets are in Detroit for a tournament but the Orthopedic ONE athletic trainer is in Pittsburgh with the U18 team, a coach or parent can enter an injury and the athletic trainer can quickly see/triage the injury.
