It is hard to believe that we are at the end of the school year. The weather has finally made a turn for the better and everyone is enjoying the sunshine.
The past week we began taking the MAP test and assessments are going well. Please remember that attendance is important during these tests.
We had a very successful Leadership Day last month. Students were able to demonstrate their leadership with someone who has helped them grow. Staff, students, and guest speaker Dr. DuBray eagerly shared the success that Forest Park has shown since the 7 Habits have been put into action. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. There are several pictures throughout the newsletter from our special day.
We are very proud of our 5th Grade students who will be graduating from the DARE program this month. There are many other end-of-the-year events scheduled this month. If you are able to help with Field Day this year, please complete and return the volunteer flyer that will be coming home in the next few days.
For families returning next year, please remember to put Supply Drop off night, Aug. 8 from 3:30-5 pm and the first day of school, Aug. 14 on your calendar! Have a fantastic summer!
