EP2 Electrical Specifications Overview The EP2 is a microprocessor based system. Operating Temperature -40 to 85 Degrees Celsius Operating Voltage 10-30VDC Current Draw Quiescent state: 36mA Typical. Quiescent state with Motion Sensor: 46mA Typical. Maximum current: 200mA Typical. Impedance Inputs All Inputs >50k Ohms Outputs Control Outputs are current limited to a maximum of 300mA. Dome Light and Horn circuits utilize a resistor in series with drive transistors to limit current in a fault state. Digital Outputs are current limited to 30mA. Digital Output circuits utilize a resistor in series with drive transistors to limit current in a fault state. Speaker Output The Speaker Output utilizes a current limiting voltage regulator and has short circuit protection. The module is constructed using UL94V-0 certified, self extinguishing, fire retardant materials in case of a thermal event.
