EP2 Audible Instructions Activation This audible instruction plays when the Child Check-Mate System® becomes activated. The point of activation will vary depending on installation. On a School Bus Child Check-Mate recommends that the activation be tied to your 8-way overhead lights and on a Passenger Van the activation should be tied to the brakes. www.childcheckmate.com/audioactivation Deactivation This audible instruction plays when the Child Check-Mate System® is deactivated. This system status helps the driver ensure that the system is disarmed before leaving the vehicle. www.childcheckmate.com/audiodeactivation Double Check Instructions This audible instruction plays when the Motion Sensor detects motion within the Double Check Period. This period takes place within the first hour after the driver has performed their Child Check and has left the vehicle. The audible instruction plays for, what the system will assume to be, a child left behind. www.childcheckmate.com/audiodoublecheck Authorities Have Been Notified This audible instruction plays when the Motion Sensor detects motion within the Theft-Mate Period. This period takes place after the Double Check period and will remain on until the driver returns. The system will assume that the motion detected was a vandal/unauthorized personnel. www.childcheckmate.com/audioleavevehicle Check for Unauthorized Entry This audible instruction plays when the Motion Sensor has detected motion within the Theft-Mate Period. It is played for the driver upon re-entry of the vehicle to inform them that there could potentially be someone still on the vehicle. www.childcheckmate.com/audiocheckvehicle Conduct Child Search This audible instruction is used as a reminder to drivers that they need to perform their Child-Check. www.childcheckmate.com/audiosearch Charter Mode This audible instruction plays when the driver is on a charter run. The system can be put into charter mode. This mode is initiated when the driver depresses the RVT after ignition is turned on and the Child Check is not activated. It will disable the Motion Sensor for 3 hours. www.childcheckmate.com/audiochartermode Theft-Mate Canceled This audible instruction plays when a maintenance personnel depresses the Key Fob. www.childcheckmate.com/audiotmcancelled Ignition On This audible instruction plays when a maintenance personnel has put the system into diagnostic mode. www.childcheckmate.com/audioignitionon To Continue Waiting This audible instruction plays when the key is in the 'accessory' position and is 30 seconds away from timing out. It serves as a reminder to the driver to cycle the key to re-start the 'accessory' position timer. www.childcheckmate.com/audiotocontinue Cycle Key This audible instruction will play when the key is in 'accessory' position and 30 seconds away from timing out. It is preceded by "to continue waiting" and acts as another reminder to the driver to cycle their key. www.childcheckmate.com/audiokeycycle CCM Self Check Confirmed This audible instruction plays when all inputs have been activated. For example, this may include: ignition, activation and brake. www.childcheckmate.com/audioselfcheck Rear Door Open This audible instruction plays when the system sees a constant ground on the deactivation wire (Blue Wire #3 of the RVT). This occurs when the rear door is open. www.childcheckmate.com/audioreardoor Data Log Initiated This audible instruction plays when the system is initially plugged into the 6-Pin Wire Harness. www.childcheckmate.com/audiodatalog Brake Input Activated This audible instruction plays when the first time the brake input is activated. www.childcheckmate.com/audiobrake Motion Sensor Activated This audible instruction plays when the Motion Sensor detects movement. This will only be heard when a maintenance personnel has put the system into diagnostic mode to ensure that everything is connected correctly. Diagnostic mode is only available on our EP2/EP2plus systems. www.childcheckmate.com/audiomsactivated Motion Sensor Not Working This audible instruction plays when the Motion Sensor is not detected during diagnostic mode. www.childcheckmate.com/audiomsnotworking Remove Key From Ignition This audible instruction plays when the "Key in Alarm" option is enabled (default off) and the driver has left the key on for a pre-determined amount of time after deactivating the system. (Ex. the System has not seen the voltage drop to 0 volts). www.childcheckmate.com/audioremovekey Maintenance Mode Activated This audible instruction plays when the system see a signal from the Key Fob. The Key Fob needs to be pressed for at least 5 seconds in order to activate maintenance mode. Maintenance mode will disable the Motion Sensor. www.childcheckmate.com/audiomaintenancemode
