Overview: Strategic Public Partners is Ohio’s premier full service public affairs and public relations firm. For over a decade, SPP has successfully implemented public affairs and public relations strategies for Fortune 500 companies across Ohio and the country. Our stellar performance in campaigns and initiatives has earned us a reputation of success. Currently, SPP is looking for a qualified intern to be a part of our team. He or she will work on a wide variety of tasks that will contribute to the professional development of students looking to enter the communications field. Purpose: To provide real world experience to college students seeking to learn more about the fields of public relations and public affairs that extends far beyond the classroom and into their professional lives at Strategic Public Partners Objectives: Interns will gain experience first hand in public affairs, public relations, government relations, issue management and strategic planning. They will also have the opportunity to present to a real client with a campaign strategy of their choosing for a local non-profit. The day-to-day experience of each intern will vary based on his or her skill set. Eligibility: Students must be juniors or seniors and able to work 20+ hours a week on a variety of projects. Each intern will be treated as a member of our strategic team from day one.
