Team Cascade has been busy with the formation of their new student council. One movement the students are working on is having students eat with each other at lunch. Owen, a student council representative, explained, "we want kids to eat together and not to eat alone. We will be putting posters up in the lunch room with catch phrases and then put our 3 favorites up around the school. We want different groups of people to sit together so nobody eats alone."

Many clubs are underway here at the Middle School. Clubs are a great way to get involved with your school community, possibly with new peers and teachers that are new to you!
If you're interested, ask one of your teachers or the club advisor how you can get involved. Some clubs meet during the day (lunch/recess) and some after school.

7th grade ELA students explored some of their favorite corporations to see what these companies are doing to ensure responsible practices. Students sent letters to these companies giving them either a "shout out" or a "call out." Click on the photo to the right to see Annelise Dramm's great slide show!
