OVERVIEW The PAR Solutions Conference brings together providers of Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A) services from across the state and country to explore solutions in the ID/A industry. Last year's Solutions Conference welcomed over 650 attendees from across Pennsylvania who were interested in a focused deep dive into intellectual disability and autism learning and sharing. Over half of those who attend the conference are decision makers for their organizations (i.e. CEOs, CFOs, Directors). DATES AND LOCATION The 2019 Solutions Conference is on Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22 with a Post-Conference day on Wednesday, October 23 at the Hilton Harrisburg. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania. He held a similar position in the office of Sen. Tom Harkin, as well as being Sen. Harkin’s senior education staffer. He began his career as an early childhood education teacher, teaching in inclusive settings. He was a special education technical assistance provider for over 40 counties and cities in Virginia. For 15 years, he was a professor and dean at the University of Delaware as well as the director of the university’s Center for Disability Studies. Just prior to joining Sen. Casey’s staff, he was Associate Executive Director for Research and Policy at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities.
