Thanks for Being ALL IN!
As we reflect on this past school year, we see the many ways that the Holy Spirit was able to weave the efforts of so many people to be ALL IN, resulting in a blessed year for Mt Calvary. These efforts are to be commended, recognized, and even celebrated!
Thank you parents, for your positive support of our teachers, for your support of your children in their pursuit of knowledge and growth in faith. Thanks for the efforts you put forth every day to transport your child to and from MCL, and the sacrifices that you make so that your child can attend Mt. Calvary. Thanks for being ALL IN.
Thank you to all the students who show up eager to learn, and for putting forth effort and show a willing spirit, even when you may not feel like it. On your worst days, you are better than many students in other schools, and on your best days—you are simply the best! Thanks for being ALL IN.
Thank you to the teachers and staff at MCL for your dedication, not to just doing your job, but your dedication to the students, their families, and our Lord Jesus, who has given you this calling—His calling to feed these lambs and tend these sheep during such formative years. Thanks for being ALL IN.
Thank you to the leadership of Mt Calvary, who didn’t give up on this mission, who stepped forward in faith, knowing there were risks; but knowing that we have a faithful God, who will never leave us nor forsake us. Thanks for your prayers, your words of encouragement, your financial support, your emotional support, and for being ALL IN this past school year.
Thanks be to God our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, who through the work of the Holy Spirit gave us this year to be together, gave us one another for support and care, and gave us the strength to make it to this point in time in the year, and will continue to bless us as we move forward.
May your summer be all you want it to be, and all you need it to be!
Dr. Steve Christopher
A WORD FROM
PTL meeting on Tuesday, May 14 @ 7 pm
Every year our PTL (Parent Teacher League) performs so many acts of service to our schools through the giving of time, sharing their talents, and the funding of special projects and activities. To keep this going—we need people, and we need some NEW people! We have a core of folks who have served us well, but it is now time to open those opportunities to others in the MCL family.

Kaitlyn Siqueiros has been selected as student of the month for April in 6th grade. Kaitlyn has earned this honor due to her effort throughout the entirety of the school year. Kaitlyn demonstrates daily the full use of the gifts God gives her. She does this through hard work which has led her to achieve honor roll recognition during the year. As the year progressed Kaitlyn has grown in self-confidence, as well as in effective communication skills. Additionally, as the year began drawing to a close, she demonstrated self- control by working when required, while still having fun. Because of these things, she will continue to achieve great success in the future.

Ezra Padilla has earned April’s Student of the Month in eighth grade. Ezra is a model student. He consistently works hard on his academics using his class time wisely on his assignments. He seeks out extra help in areas that he has concern on. He has been participating in class more and more as the year has progressed. He shows his maturity in the way he handles himself daily. He is kind to this classmates and is willing to help anyone when needed. His calm spirit adds to the classroom environment. He is well like and respected. I know that Ezra is up for the challenges of high school and will continue to strive in the coming years. Congratulations Ezra!

Sophia Pedroza is April's Student of the Month. She has been an outstanding scholar, making Principals Honor Roll all year. Sophia turns in her work on time and her special projects have been exemplary; she always puts in her full effort on homework and projects, which go above and beyond what is expected. Sophia's academics are important to her and she sets a very high bar for herself, but she is also a giving, caring friend and goes out of her way to help others or to share with them. She has a wonderful attitude whether it be in her learning, helping and other Christian acts of kindness and for that reason she is well liked and admired by her fellow students.
It is a pleasure to have Sophia in our class! Congratulations, I expect her continued success throughout her academic years!
Sofia Mariano is 5th grade’s student of the month. Sofia is a very conscientious student, who has great work ethic in the classroom. She has received principal honor roll and perfect worship attendance for the last three quarters. Sofia is very determined and continually strives to do her best. She sets standards high for herself and does not slow down even once she has reached her goal. Her love for reading has gained her the highest AR goal in 5th grade, which she easily reaches midway through each quarter. Congratulations Sofia, on all your hard work!
