LGMS STUDENT LATE START

LAKE GENEVA, WI- Do you like to ski or snowboard? Have you ever wanted to try skiing or snowboarding? Lake Geneva is lucky to have opportunities to ski or snowboard at Grand Geneva and Alpine Valley.
Many middle schoolers enjoy skiing and snowboarding because it’s a great way to have fun, hang out with friends, and learn some new skills.
There are many different levels of runs and hills you can go on. A “green circle run” is an easier run and a ‘black diamond’ or a ‘double black diamond run’ are harder and more difficult. There are different levels of runs in between.
Don't like heights? Hang out inside the lodge with your friends, or head over to the terrain park, which has jumps, ramps, and obstacles for skiers and snowboarders to do awesome tricks off of.
LGMS has a ski club at Alpine Valley. On ‘ski club days’, you can go and ski for just $18! If you would like to attend Alpine Valley for LGMS Ski Club, contact Mr. Turk for more information.
It’s never too late to start skiing or snowboarding! So if you’re looking for a fun way to get outside, have a lot of fun, and enjoy the snow, go skiing or snowboarding! You’ll really enjoy it!

LGMS LAKE HOUSE- If you’re in Lake House, then you’ve probably seen the murals that cover the walls. The extraordinary person who painted them is Anthony Fernandez. He is the son of Annette Fernandez, an employee at LGMS. Anthony used up to around three gallons of paint making the mural. I took him around six to seven months to finish the murals, granted, he could only paint a certain amount of hours per day. You may be thinking how he got the ideas to do the specific murals that he did. (Quote) Anthony shouldn’t get all the credit though. Although he did a lot, it was a group effort. The ideas originated from a group of Lake House students, including Anthony. They, together, got the ideas of what the murals look like today- beautiful, relaxing, and intricate designs of art made for everyone to see.
