2018 Annual Report
It's the little things that make a big difference. By donating items that we normally wouldn't think twice about purchasing for ourselves, we add greatly to the well being of others. That "little bit extra" in our pantries can help to uplift an entire family.
No donation is too small. Whether it be payroll deductions, designated donations to specific programs, or one-time payments; any form of monetary gift is graciously accepted.
Our purpose is to provide Team Focus Insurance Group and its Team Members a means to volunteer, donate, or contribute to programs that support education and feeding the hungry.
One of the greatest things that we can do for others is to give of ourselves. The benefits of volunteering include better health, happiness, connections, and positivity while building a better community.
Our mission is to have a meaningful impact on the lives of the people in the communities in which we live and work, and the insurance community from which we derive our livelihood.
WAYS TO DONATE
Left to Right: Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, Monthly Sandwich Project, Sarasota All Faith's Food Bank, Fourth of July Bake Sale, Habitat for Humanity, and Broward Outreach
The gift of this endowment and any resulting scholarship(s) was created to honor the life and leadership of Malcolm G. MacNeill. Mr. MacNeill partnered with his father to build the managing general agency Frank R. MacNeill & Son, Inc., which became MacNeill Group, now the core of the Team Focus Insurance Group of companies. Highly regarded as an astute businessman and respected for his professionalism and wide range of knowledge, Mr. MacNeill’s greatest attribute was his gift for building lasting relationships.
Harlie Grace is a Political Science major at Florida Gulf Coast University with a minor in History.
"I believe in order to improve our current quality of life, I must first understand where we came from and learn from our country’s mistakes. My belief that legislation plays a major role in shaping the nation sparked my interest in the inner workings of the government, thus leading me to pursue a career in politics. I hope to one day utilize my knowledge of past and current events to help enact legislation that benefits the majority of the nation."
Harlie was once selected as one of three students to represent her high school the ACES program (Athletics, Community, Education), hosted by FAU. The program was dedicated to teaching student athletes demonstrating strong leadership qualities how to maintain proper work ethics, honesty, and maintain integrity. We are looking forward to continuing to see great things from Harlie!
The Malcolm G. MacNeill Memorial Endowment Fund was created by the generosity of Team Focus Insurance Group, LLC. The Malcolm G. MacNeill Memorial Endowment Fund is a permanent endowment and the distributions from the Endowment are used for the sole purpose of funding the Malcolm G. MacNeill Memorial Scholarship Fund.
McKenzie Jackson was our first ever scholarship recipient in 2016. Currently, McKenzie majors in interdisciplinary Health Services and Audiology at Western Michigan University. She decided that this was her desired area of study "after learning about the deaf community in high school and seeing all of the things my parents have gone through helping my sister with her hearing loss." McKenzie is only the fourth student to go through the accelerated doctorate program for audiology. We look forward to continuing to see great things from McKenzie!
