April 2017 Theme: Enjoying Kingdom Treasures
Inspirational Monthly Devotional
Grace (often referred to as unmerited favour) is a most fundamental treasure in the kingdom of God. By Grace, we are saved and by Grace we are helped in diverse ways throughout our salvation experience. Grace, however must be located and embraced by faith. Noah was man who found Grace in his time. His salvation was guaranteed prior to an impending judgement of God upon a sinful world. Jesus warned that as it was in the days of Noah, His second coming will be unpredictable and we are to be prepared by Grace. May the Grace of God continue to grant us all help needed to run our salvation race most effectively in Jesus name. Amen. Meditation: Eph. 2:4-9; Heb. 4:14-16; Gen. 6:7-22; Matt. 24:37-46; Jam. 4:1-6; Is. 44:1-3.

Week 2 The Kingdom Treasure of Mercy (Download audio message here)
The cross of Jesus' crucifixion symbolises many things. It mostly reminds us of the greatest sacrifice ever made for the sake of Man's salvation through His death and resurrection. Jesus is mercy personified. Infact, His entire ministry was expressed on the platform of mercy - ensuring that we do not get the punishment we deserve. As He was going to Jerusalem to be crucified, for example, He showed mercy on a blind man who asked for it. He also showed mercy to a condemned thief who was also crucified with him as he also asked for mercy. Mercy is a kingdom treasure that we must keep approaching the throne of Grace to obtain always. It is God's weapon over the devil's entrapment of our lives. It triumphs over judgement. The scriptures say all that God requires of us is to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. May the Lord continue to help us to enjoy the kingdom treasure of mercy all the days of our lives in Jesus' name. Amen. Heb. 4:14-16; Micah 6:8; Mark 10:46-52; Luke 23:39-43; James 2:13
Doctors and Nutritionists advise us to eat healthy so that we can live healthy. Whilst eating healthy, regular exercise and responsible living are good for a healthy lifestyle, the word of God admonishes us much more to embrace all that Jesus did to take away both sin and sickness from us. Our faith must be in the finished work on His cross and His commandment to us also to carry our cross daily by way of denying ourselves and committing unyieldedly to Him. During the exodus, God told the children of Israel to obey and serve Him so that He would take sickness away from them and not afflict them with any of the diseases that plagued the Egyptians. Isaiah later prophesied that Jesus Christ will be wounded for our transgressions and that He would be smitten and that by His wounds we are healed. Therefore, His resurrection is the guarantee for the quickening of our mortal bodies. This is a benefit of salvation through Jesus Christ and every follower must demostrate discipleship through the carrying of the daily cross. The cross we are to carry is a cross of self-denial. The cross of willingness to obey divine instructions. As we carry it daily, we continue to enjoy the full benefits of eternal life - part of which manifests in divine health. May the Lord continue to enable us enjoy divine health as we serve Him whole-heartedly in Jesus name, Amen. Meditation: Luke 18:29-30; Exodus 23:24-25; I Peter 2:24; Romans 8:6-11.
Week 3 The Kingdom Treasure of Divine Health (Download audio message here)
Divine wealth is a kingdom treasure that has God as its Source and entails having enough of God's provision to fulfill a divine mandate. Natural wealth is possible. Simply working hard and doing the right things from a career/ business perspective can make one wealthy. However, divine wealth on the other hand has its roots in Godly empowerment. It combines riches with health, righteousness, peaceand joy in the Holy Spirit. It is futile to gain the whole world and lose one's soul as the scriptures say. However, godliness with contentment is indeed great gain. Abraham was a great example of divine wealth. A close study of scriptures shows that several laws governed Abraham's lifestyle of divine wealth. These include the laws of: inspiration, faith and departure, kindness, courage, worship and sacrificial offering, wisdom, tithing, integrity and enquiry. May the Lord continue to grant us deeper insights as He blesses us with divine wealth in Jesus name. Amen. Meditation: Deut. 8: 1-20; Mark 8:26; Gen. 12:1-16; Gen. 15:1-4; II Cor. 8:9
