The sessions will be offered in the evening (dinner included).
Sessions will include guest speakers and topics, such as the following:
Leadership: Types of leadership styles, leadership approaches, decision making
Human Resources 101: Human resource issues that all administrators need to be aware of from evaluation responsibilities to personnel files and FOIA
Legal issues for Administrators: Current issues, common problems administrators encounter
Curriculum and Instruction: Review of the instructional process, curriculum development and theory, assessment, etc.
School Finance: Current principles that all administrators need to be successful
Public Relations: Working with parents, the Principals role in media relations, and the impact/benefit of social media
Special Education and 504's: Legal responsibilities and required involvement
