OSHA Training Mountain West OSHA Training Center will be conducting the following training courses: December 5-8 - OSHA 511 - Occupational Safety & Health Standards for General Industry Info and other OSHA Courses Education Classes FREE to SUHBA Members Register at UtahHBA.com October 18th 8:30am - 4:30pm Managing Risk - Insurance & Liens October 19th 8:30am - 4:30pm Accounting Essentials October 20th 8:30am - 4:00pm Project Management Government Affairs Click here to see full list of the legislative accomplishments this year - a couple of the high points from that effort are: HB 313 Licensure Changes - Eliminates the experience and test requirements for all subcontractor or specialty contractors licensing, except for plumbers and electricians. Proof of financial responsibility and attending the 25 hour pre-license training course is still required. Makes technical changes to electricians and plumbers. Requires all providers of the 25 hour pre-license course to offer the course off the Wasatch Front at least six times a year. SB 154 Solar Access Amendments - Would have required all HOA's to allow solar panels.
