The Great Lakes Bay New Teacher Academy has been designed for new teachers hired for the 2018-2019 school year in Bay-Arenac ISD, Midland County ESA, and Saginaw ISD area schools. This series is specifically designed to address Section 1526 of the Michigan School Code, which requires 15 days of professional development during the first three years of teaching. New Teachers must participate in all sessions, as each session builds on the previous session.
