8-day wellness holiday, set in the Southwest of Turkey by the side of the Mediterranean.
Dalyan is a town on the Dalyan River, just inland from Turkey's Southwest coast. Across the river from town is the ancient ruined city of Kaunos, with Lycian rock tombs and the remains of a theatre. Riverboats connect Dalyan with İztuzu Beach to the south, home to protected loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. To the northwest on the shore of Lake Köyceğiz is the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal mud baths.
One of Turkey’s undiscovered treasures, Dalyan area with its rich natural resources and beautiful rivers provides great opportunities for sightseeing. High mountains, Long Distance Rivers, amazing green valleys, and spectacular geography make Dalyan region a real paradise for nature lovers.

Saklikent (Hidden City) Gorge is the second-largest (20 km-long) gorge in Europe, the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey, about a 40 minutes' drive from Fethiye. It is a spectacular place, with sculpted walls soaring high above. Four km. of the gorge is walkable after April when most of the snow from the Taurus Mountains has melted and passed through the gorge on its way to the Xanthos River. Summer is the best time to visit as the canyon is deliciously cool and shady with cold water.
included excursions & sightseeing
Mud bath & sulphur pools
If you enjoy splashing around in the mud or wish to become more beautiful during your trip to Dalyan, then the mud baths are your answer. The mud is said to have anti-aging properties in that it removes your wrinkles. Firstly, cover your body in the mud and then bask in the sun while the mud bakes dry. As the mud dries, it shrinks your skin removing your wrinkles with it.
While it has not been scientifically proven to have this effect, those that have tried it all believe themselves to have younger skin as a result. Failing any beauty effects, many families enjoy the time wallowing in the mud on a hot day.
Following your mud bath, take a dip in the thermal spring which has healing properties for the skin, respiratory system, and rheumatism. The waters at the Sultaniye Spring have a very high mineral content, in fact, the second highest in the world. The mud baths and hot springs can be reached by boat; it is usually the first stop on the daily boat tours of Dalyan.
Enjoy your visit to the Hammam for a Turkish bath, followed by a body scrub and 30-minute massage.(optional)
Gocek 12 Dalyan Islands boat trip (optional - subject to availability)
This is probably the best excursion whether you enjoy swimming or not. This trip is a good opportunity for swimming, sunbathing, or just a lazy day out. You will be able to swim in various crystal clear coves and bays during this trip. You will feel relaxed as you enjoy the sunshine and the scenery.

The climate is typically Mediterranean with hot, sunny, dry summer months, and lovely spring and autumn weather with warm sunny days, cooler evenings - and the chance of an occasional shower. In our opinion May and September are the nicest months. We particularly recommend September when the busy summer holiday period is over and places of interest less crowded.
What you'll need
For our training sessions you'll need loose, comfortable garments; lightweight cottons and linens are ideal. You'll need warm top for night walks; Turkish weather is fairly hot during the day and very pleasantly warm in the evening. Beachwear and swimming costumes.
Day time sun can be hot: don't forget sunblock, sunglasses, a hat and a sarong. Scarves are great for keeping off the sun and any light chills at night. Lightweight walking shoes or boots are ideal for walk about; otherwise sandals and/or flip-flops are good for the beach.
Plugs - Turkey has 2-pin plugs, so you will need to bring an adapter. There are power outlets in all the accommodation.
How much extra spending money will I need?
Most people spend an average of £100 – £200 on extras, which includes additional boat trips or coach travel, trips to town, drinks, shopping.
Good to know
We can cater for people with food allergies or intolerances, although please note gluten free flours and bread are not yet available locally in Turkey, nor are the usual substitutes for dairy. Imported soya milk is available and can be purchased
There is a wide enough selection of dishes for most people to eat well, but we suggest bringing gluten free bread or snacks, or any other specialities with you if you think you’ll need them.
If you have an allergy to a particular ingredient, let us know, and a separate dish can be made for you. However, if you have a severe reaction to an allergen, in which a very small amount i.e. on a kitchen knife or surface can trigger a reaction, we cannot guarantee to be free of cross contamination. Also if you have a long list of things you can’t eat, it may not be possible to cater for you.
NB: DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA!
