It’s so nice to be back at Evangel after three weeks ministering in Nepal and Thailand. Thank you so much for your prayers and support while we were away.
This morning our special guest is Dr. Brian Stiller. Brian is the Global Ambassador for the World Evangelical Alliance, a global alliance which serves some 600 million evangelical Christians. Its website is: www.worldevangelicals.org. Previously Brian served as President of Tyndale College and Seminary and before that he served as President of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada.
In his current role, Brian tours the world bringing reports about what God is
doing through His Church. Brian is a gifted communicator and I know you will be blessed by what he has to share this morning.
This Wednesday we will be joining together in the Sanctuary for a special
performance entitled Solitary Refinement. This one-man play, sponsored by Voice of the Martyrs, depicts the life of Richard Wurmbrand in prison. It highlights the need for us to remember our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering persecution around the world. The performance begins at 6:30 pm. There will be childcare available. I hope you will plan to join us and invite your friends to this excellent presentation.

The Set Free Retreat is a life changing ministry that will teach you how to break free of sins and obstacles that prevent you from becoming all you can be in your walk with Jesus. Prepare your heart to meet God in a way that will produce lasting change in your life.
Passion for God
Compassion for People
What is the Set Free Retreat?
God has called His people to live righteous lives and be His light in this world. We cannot possibly accomplish His calling with sin in our lives. It acts as a veil that dims our light and affects every part of our walk with Christ. Set Free Retreat is a weekend set aside to focus on learning how to deal with sin, hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you really are my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE” (John 8:31-32 NIV). We have seen many people set free from sinful strongholds and hurts in their lives through Christ’s power found in confession, forgiveness and inner healing. Don't miss this opportunity to be Set Free.
Who Can Attend
Everyone 16 years and older, wherever you are in your walk with Christ.
What to Bring
Please bring your Bible, a notebook and a pen.
