Issue 6 | Volume 4 | 2019
At the very stat of this project I could only use some basic programs like iMovie. I could only use my phone camera, because I couldn't manage to film with a proper camera. I have developed those skills pretty well, but I wanted to push myself harder and reach for better quality.

Skills?
The progress
After I did some research I decided to try an use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019. It was a bit of a struggled, but after watching the help videos I managed to figure out how to work with the program.
The same goes with camera. I have tried and experimented with different cameras like Iphone X, Canon EOS 4000D DSLR Camera Body and CANON IXUS 190 Compact Camera. I personally liked Canon camera the best, but of coursers the Iphone was the easiest. I did face some trouble while importing the footage into my computer, because it didn't have the SD card extension.
Further developments
What I achieved and what would I change?
Looking further I have done some sound research. I wanted to make the music and sound effect high quality so it would make the movie stand out more. I went through loads for videos on the social platform YouTube to find the right sound track that would be connected to film noir. On problem I had with sound is that I didn't use a microphone which would have helped me out a lot. Another thing I did was watch some film noir movies like 'Night and the city', 'Double indemnity', 'Sin city' and 'Blade runner'. This gave me an insight to all the stereotypes a noir movie should involve.
Personally I really enjoyed this experience. It has allowed me to experiment with technology that I haven't tried before and it gave me an insight to a whole new genre.
If I would to change few things, I would defiantly be more organized, with both filming and editing. I would let myself have more time for tweaking the final project. The biggest mistake I made was that, I was afraid to take a big step and use more complex programs . If i would have started using them at the very beginning ,my works standards would be higher.
